I don't want to keep complaining but Ellington is on a another level. In a class on his own. Possibly best slot in this draft

Let the kid play first. I like Ellington more as a player but Saunders isn't a scrub or slouch of a player. He could have put up better numbers if they had a more passing QB besides Bell last season honestly.

because Ellington is 3rd round talent we could have had in the 4th. Instead we took a 6th round talent in the 4th. THAT PISSES ME OFF

Lol if he was a 3rd round talent why didn't he go in the 3rd? You realize Ellington would be riding the pine all season, and longer if we re-sign Kerley.

    Rich Cimini โ€@RichCimini now
Asked to describe playing style, diminutive WR/PR Jalen Saunders said he's a cross between a gorilla and a terrier. Small, but "savage."

By what metric is the guy a sixth-round talent? If he was 6'+ 200 pounds he'd probably be a 1st round pick instead of a 4th.

jeezus - people are losing their minds because we didn't get "value" with a 4th round pick? our season is unlikely to be determined by whether we get this or that third tier WR prospect

I was all for Ellington, but the one edge I can give to Saunders, he probably is a better route runner. The offense at SC is more of the fun&gun variety.

LOL. and if I was 6'+ 200 lbs, I'd be in the NFL too. WTF does that mean. since you mention metrics; his metric scores were terrible, below 1. Ellington was an 8 which is almost good/great.

  11. Very good player.Great in space & after the catch.Not a reach.

"Wahh the jets didnt take the one random wr I wanted".Get a clue

Just to mention this whole "value" thing - the four teams that have taken the lowest graded players so far in this draft include the Seahawks, the Ravens and the Patriots - clearly not getting perceived value in the draft with your later picks is a recipe for disaster!

Lol Bruce Ellington gives you the same thing as Brandin Cooks? You really want to write that publicly on this forum?

This made me laugh out loud. I'll echo my sentiments in the Shaq thread... we have had HOW many drafts now? And people still think there is any basis to this whole "coulda gotten, shoulda gotten" bullcrap?

The way people complain about value on this board is actually funny.

Coulda had Marino, Coulda had Sapp, Coulda had Wilson, Coulda had Foles, Coulda had Jeffrey, I think there's a pretty strong basis for the coulda gotten "bullcrap"

Who was saying any of that on draft day, like you are? It's foolish. Laughable, literally, because I did when I read your original post I quoted.

Saunders can play outside the slot..Ellington can't.

I'd guess that factored big into his selection.
