Also, we traded up in the 1st round to get him. At least with Amaro, we got him in the 2nd round, and didn't trade up.

The knock on him is that he can't block at all.

Having the 33rd, 42nd and 49th picks would've been so insane...oh well at least we got one premium guy out of the deal.

TEs drafted in the first 2 days in the draft are usually not good blockers.

He not a blocker, he's more of a WR than conventional TE. He's like Aaron Hernandez, without the murder charge.

Most of the time you'll get somebody you want on your pick. If you don't then you're not scouting well enough. There is value in this draft into the 5th round. If the Jets don't get a good prospect on the next 4 picks I will be surprised.

I've seen Niklas play at Notre Dame and he doesn't touch Amaro offensively. Better blocker? Absolutely. But Amaro gets separation on that field

We might run 2 TE sets with Cumberland and Amaro. Going to be devastating to cover.

I think we take Marcel Jensen in round 6 or 7 as our pure blocking TE.

That's just silly revisionist history. You can say you didn't like the guy but you have no basis to assert that.
