How about Troy Niklas in the 3rd?

If the Jets can get the Iowa guy in round 3 it would be good. If not, they could get Arthur Lynch from UGA. He is a good blocker.

Seferian-Jenkins is a red-zone monster. His production in that area has been consistently good, and he's great at boxing out defenders and extending his hands to pluck the ball in traffic. He has sure hands.

I don't see much of any resemblance to Cumber, who has deceptive speed (4.45 wheels, believe it or not) and is more of a seam threat.

Cumber had over 15 YPC last year.

ASJ and Lee are the guys I would be targeting in round 2.

I think I could settle for that, but it wouldn't be my ideal scenario. If the Jets miss out on an offensive impact player in the second round, I will definitely have to settle for it.

Niklas used to be my blocking binky, because he is the size of a house but still has quickness, but when I compare the two, CJ actually looks like the better player, even though Niklas is projected higher.

There are 2 WRs, 2 QBs and 1 TE worth drafting in the second..everybody else is a lineman or a reach..if the Jets don't trade up I can see us taking a OL or DL.

trade up for Lee, the production in college was there. he's going to be a solid pro.

    Possible Round 2 Targets:

Marqise Lee, WR - have to move up.
Xavier S'ua-Filo, OG - 1st rd grade. Should be a 10 year standout at guard
Joel Bitonio, OT - stock rose at Senior bowl week, solid RT.
ASJ, TE - hope he falls to the Jets, would be a great pick
Jace Amaro, TE - Jet had multiple visits, plays like a WR.
Jordan Matthews, WR -Strong possibility, if still available. Visited Florham Park
DeMarcus Lawrence, OLB - Visited Florham Park, good edge rusher

Jeremiah Attaouch, OLB - Very productive rusher, no interest shown by Jets
Jarvis Landry, WR - Jets want tough physical players (Pryor), that's Landry. Visit
Allen Robinson, WR - Good size, fast player
Kyle Van Noy, OLB - Smart player, solid OLB
Jimmy Garoppolo, QB - Surprise pick, Jets seems to love this Guy, Multiple visits
Keith McGill, CB - Big CB (Seattle mold), would make secondary much improved. Visit
Troy Niklas, TE - Maybe a slight reach at #49, depends who is abvailable. Visit

Oh man, if we get Jordan Matthews in the second round, I'll be ecstatic. Fist pump in the air and everything.

I'm thinking WR in the 2nd and TE in the 3rd. Something like this:

    2nd: Lee, Matthews, Lattimer, Moncrief
    3rd: Fiedorowicz

haha..to get Lee we won't have a third, maybe the same with Matthews too. Actually Matthews might be had with only giving up a 4th if he is still there after 6 or 7 picks.

However unlikely there is also a chance that Lee falls. Not expecting it but not excluding it either.

If he falls that far there is a dirty little secret about him that the GMs know but the public doesn't which means he slips past us too.

    Top targets for Day 2:

    Louis Nix
    Kony Ealy
    Ra'Shede Hageman
    Stephon Tuitt
    Demarcus Lawrence
    Tim Jernigan

(since all we ever do is draft the guy that nobody talks about, I need to make sure these guys get some serious hype!!!)

If I remember correctly when looking at the chart yesterday it would put us around 35 or so. I'm all for that
