He actually reminds me a little of Polamalu with how fast he looks at times, no wonder he was called the Louisville Slugger, that kids gonna be a fan favorite by week 1.
BPA is a fantasy. It's a subjective pile of shite. It's like me and three of my buddies going out on a Friday night and declaring we all are going after the hottest girl at the bar. And we might be - to us. We're all right, even though we have different four girls pegged. They are all BGA (BPA) to us, because they fit us best individually. The 49'ers just took Jimmy Ward at 30. Is he really the best guy available at pick 30? Probably not, but he's the best FOR THEM. Nothing else really matters. Pryor may not have been a 10 for others, but he's pretty damn good for us. Nuff said.
Bridgewater was never really a 1st round prospect. If any player slips then they really never slipped, they just got drafted where they were intended to go all along.
If someone trades up to 32 and takes Bridgewater ahead of the Texans, I wonder whether they would consider taking Carr, even after their experience with his brother.
Now that the initial shock's worn off, I'm ok with the pick. We got the best safety in the draft. If we can somehow get Lee or Seferian-Jenkins in round 2 I will be happy. And Bruce Ellington later on.
