I watch whichever of the two networks is not showing a commercial. When one network goes to commercial, I switch to the other.

Anyone have a rough time frame for when the Jets will make their pick?

They usually time it to go to a break pretty close to the same time.

Michael Irvin is on NFLN tonight....that's really bad.
I can't stand Chris Berman, so I will avoid ESPN tonight.

I dunno, I guess I just hate him less, kinda like which mainstream political presidential candidate to support. Kiper made a name for himself doing mock drafts, but now a days he's always wrong! I get a nice chuckle when he's talking about a team while they're on the clock and determines that they are absolutely going with the guy who's top of his list, and then they pick somebody who's like 20 picks lower on his list. That makes me smile. The draft is so unpredictable I'm surprised people try so hard. Kiper got lucky a few times and it seems to make people worship the ground he walks on. He is way over rated when it comes to talent evaluation. Mayock just always strikes me as a guy who knows almost nothing about what he's talking about. His Thursday Night Football analysis is downright terrible and he makes guys like Al Michaels and Mike Tirico look like geniuses.

Here's a fact: A few years ago Mayock was acting like he was predicting the pick, but was being tipped off in his ear piece. Chris Berman has use this tactic too. The NFL started to get complaints, from fans, that these Guys and others were tipping off the pick early.

LaCanfora did it too. Same year that Mayock lost his voice. You could hear some cheering in the background and then they would change camera to Jason Cockeye who was standing under some bleachers or in a hallway or something and he'd pretend he got tipped off.

    Weak bullshit.

I will watch the NFLN unless Warren Sapp is on there.

Yup. Free download, I use it all the time. It is literally like having a tv in your hand. I take it into the can with me all the time.

The official Draft Thread is in the Badminton Forum.

    Kind of weird.

NFL Networks is better because of Rich Eisen….[/quote]
I don't know what's with the Rich Eisen love. That snarky prick is a Jet-bashing scumbag. Just this morning his take on the Giants picking OBJ was to say that "poor Jet fans (everywhere) were jealous" as if it was across-the-board and not just the whining darksiders…..that the Giants pick should have a 'Jets-as-losers' component to it. And I've heard him on several other occassions taking the opportunity to mock the 'sad sack' Jets -- screw him and his receeding hairline.
