Let's be real, it's the Jets. They are drafting a potential bust. Come on, add those dark clouds! :p

I don't mind trading up, as long as it doesn't kill the rest of our picks. We have a few extra. We could trade 2 4ths and a 5th, to move up a bit but I don't want to see us make a ridiculous move like trading our 2nd, 3rd and next year's 1st to get in the top 5 or something. That would not be worth it on a prospect.

I think Woody is schmoozing potential sponsors while occasionally getting a phone call from Idzik concerning the state of their draft board.

It's all a crapshoot at the end of it. Watkins could be a dud, while Lee could be the second coming of Jerry Rice (bit of an exaggeration). Nobody really knows. All we can really hope for is for the Jets make the right decision and the pick stay healthy.

Theres ZERO chance we are trading up to get into top 10---way too expensive and makes no sense in a deep draft. If we trade up to 11, I still think its a mistake--again, why trade up in a deep draft? Common sense would tell you to trade down in a deep draft.

on the other hand, we're not drafting and signing 12 fuckin guys. Soooooo the logical thing is to be looking for trade partners in the second round to move up there, giving up TB's 4th and maybe a 5th or whatever it take to move up there and either get the CB or WR we didn't drft in the first round. That's my two cents

With this much talent at the wr position, trading up for OBJ is a terrible move. Stay put or trade down if you want a wr.

I feel it's a stretch to think idzik will trade up for a wr. We don't even know what our current qb is yet. Major holes in secondary and at lb coupled with ol needs makes a trade up scenario dubious IMO.

The only trade up I would want is if they identified a franchise qb they were dead set on. Barring that, why would we revert back to the ways which caused the lack of depth we currently have?

Plz show patience idzik! Use your picks and build the foundation. If we were close to contending we sure as hell wouldn't be sitting on 20+ mil in cap space.

Anyone buying jets releasing who they are targeting are being deceived. Idzik is not going to share that info at all. If jets trade up look for a big splash...a la manziel, maybe Evans (who I don't want that bad to trade up for),

jtrain and Run_N_run return within a day of each other. Wonder if they plan on PMing a bunch of people they don't know.

I think there is an outside (longshot) chance this is happening. Woody pushed for Favre, wanted Cutler and didn't get him then he "fell in love" with Sanchez when the Jets visited him. There was speculation here that Woody pushed for Tebow also.

It's not out of the realm of possibility that Woody is pushing for a trade up. It would be out of character for Idzik, and the team needs a whole lot more than just a QB.

If they had both entered last year, Marqise Lee would have gone top 10 and ahead of Sammy Watkins.

The draft is ultimately a crapshoot.

I think the Jets should probably sit tight.

Trading up for Beckham is the dumbest idea ever. Right up there with moving into the top 5 for Dewayne Robertson.

Well it's definitely going to happen now.

If we trade up, hopefully it's just 4 spots and jump ahead of Pittsburgh - that's the only trade up I don't mind.

It's a tough call. I like Lee a lot, but I don't know if he's a better prospect than Watkins. Watkins, to me, is one of those rare talents that doesn't come out often.

If we get 3 starters out of this draft we have done terrific so what does matter if we move up or not?

Tanny traded away critical picks to select mediocre players at best in weak drafts. That's one of many reasons he's not around any longer. I don't want to give up picks, this is a deep draft.. stay put or move down if you think their guy will still be there a few picks later on.

Hooking up a star receiver with a sub-par QB isn't worth losing all those picks. I was never in favor of the Santonio Holmes signing but he was a guy well on his way to being a 100 catch receiver until the Jets landed him. Moving up in this draft and giving away picks for 50 catches a year from a QB that can't read defenses is a typical Tanny move. If Idzik does this I'm done with him.

I'm not for this at all, take BPA or move down if you can grab picks and still get the guy they targeted.
