Indeed, yet many on this board freak out at the though of using a high pick on an OT or OG.

Would you take Verrett at 49 despite these injuries if we got a WR in round 1?

To be honest, probably not. Verrett is a great cover corner, but his size really is going to be a detriment in the NFL, in my opinion. I could see him as an elite slot corner in the NFL perhaps, but do you select a slot corner with a 2nd round pick?

We already selected one in the first so the second shouldn't be a problem.

I'm sure Kyle Wilson wasn't selected in the 1st round with the mindset that he'd be a career slot corner, lol.

There's really no right place to put this post so I'll put it here.

I'm sitting here watching the Total Access draft special and it's Andrew Siciliano, Heath Evans, Jamie Dukes and Greg Schiano.

The only way they could make this show schmuckier is to add another seat for Joe Theisman, although I'm not sure NFLN employs him anymore.

What an unwatchable pile of crap.

Right there with you abyzmul. What the hell is Schiano doing on there...giving insight into how not to be a NFL coach??? I was really hoping Belicheat would hire him to pair with Mevis.

Yes I would. He's got everything except height. If he was a little taller he'd be the number one cornerback in the class no doubt. He will be a good starter. The height very well may hold him back from being anything more than good, but at least I think that is his floor. By the way, his cover skills, speed, and agility are all a lot better than Kyle Wilson's - he's a much better prospect overall, it's not a fair comparison.

Not to drag this off topic any more but Mike Francesa scored Steve Mariucci on his show today for some pre-draft chatter and proceeded to interview himself for about 40 minutes while occasionally letting Mariucci say something. I was screaming at the dashboard on a couple of occasions because I really wanted to hear what Mooch had to say about a prospect, but nope there was Francesa jumping in again with the old ask a question and then step all over the guy you asked it of to answer it yourself.

There were two moments in the interview process when Mooch just wouldn't give up on an idea he wanted to present and he and Francesa were talking simultaneously for about 10 seconds each time. It was so jumbled it was hysterical. You'd have had to be female to listen to both conversations at the same time and get anything out of it.

Cleveland love Teddy, apparently, in part due to some expensive proprietary research.
