    @IanRapaport
Mentioned earlier the #Jets are looking to trade up. Their target is the Top 10, and I’m told they are very hot on #LSU WR Odell Beckham.

Love the player. But ultimately depends on cost. We need our second and third round picks.

Ugh... I don't like this idea. This would probably cost a future 2nd or 3rd. I don't think the difference between Odell Beckham Jr and Lee/Cooks is worth it

Yeah not buying this. Two days ago he was likely to be available at 18 and we still might take Cooks or Dennard and now we're gonna blow half our draft on him?

    This smells Incarcerated...

Maybe they trade into the top 10 to grab Evans?

I love the eve of draft day, rumors run wild. This could be exactly what they plan to do or complete bullshit.

He's going to be a good pro WR though, I would approve of this move. How far up would they have to go guys? Ahead of buffalo and Detroit? Ahead of the giants?

I'd be pissed if we burned a valuable third round pick to make sure we get Beckham. Dennard or Cooks can and might be better picks which we could still get at 18.

Considering how tight lipped things were in FA, I'd be pretty surprised if something this big actually leaked.

Also wouldn't be surprised if Idzik does due diligence on what it'll cost to move up to various spots and has contacted teams to gauge interest.

Hill and Gates both outran him. Trade them both to the Raiders for the fifth pick straight up and I'm cool with it.

They were tight-lipped in free agency? Practically everyone in the world knew ahead of time they were going after Vick, Chris Johnson etc..

I wouldn't be mad at this at all. Depends on what we have to give up though

only way i consider trading up to top 10:

    1) the price is right, and doesn't follow the steep draft pick returns the old chart would suggest
    2) the player is clean, ready to roll starter with very high upside.

maybe Watkins, Mack, or 1 of the 3 OT's..

Ok...After understanding a lot of JI deals, including not signing DRC for good reason. He really has done a good job in FA. Now, this should be the time he really steps up to the plate. However, throw that "sticking to the grade" system out if you are valuing a player like OBJ. Hate to say it, but maybe Idzik is trading picks for contract reasons? so he can get OBJ ON THE CHEAP!?
    Any thoughts?

By now you should all know that Idzik values each and every one of his 12 picks more than anything. If he's willing to dish any of them out, he's 100% confident in what he's doing. You can second guess him in free agency, but I'd trust him in the draft.

While I do agree with you, you can't ask people to trust a guy in a draft who has had one draft as a GM.
