I don't think he's that quick though. Might find a role as a goal line back or FB if he can pickup on blocking quick.
Unlike Tebow he went to college NOT wanting to play QB. He had to be prodded and ultimately did it for the team. Things may be different now but not so long ago he said that he saw himself as a TE. Tebow always played, wanted to be and saw himself as a QB.
I agree with that, but he seems to now be saying he's a QB and has no interest in switching. Maybe he can be convinced, but I'm not taking him until very late if my intent is to move him to TE. Just don't know if he can run routes or block in the pros or still catch. HS was a long time ago and his dominance back then might have been because of his physical size and not technique. But maybe he does become a great TE. _
carr's stats dont back up your take ... http://www.rotoworld.com/articles/cfb/45952/349/out-of-the-box
Yeah I watched him a LOT this year and he seemed to push the ball downfield quite a bit. He gets unfairly criticized for throwing as many screens as he does, but that was Fresno State's defacto running game. I'd be interested in seein the yardage and TD production on his thrws fdown field--just from watching him play I'm guessing it tops his percentage numbers. As great as Adams is, he's not your typical speed guy/deep threat. And Carr wasn't throwing to anyone else that's getting drafted. I liked Burse in college, but he's not playing on Sundays next year. I would hate to see him go to the Pats at the bottom of round 1. _
