Of course not. Rob came into that situation and was forced to keep a bunch of position coaches that didn't know his offense. I'm still not sold that he is that good of a defensive coordinator, but damn, give the guy a chance. Jones is a trigger happy retard when something wasn't his idea to begin with, and I heard a number of times that the Rob Ryan hire was the idea of Stephen Jones.
http://www.schmidtsofphilly.com Popular Philadelphia beer that appeared in Pappale movie and Rocky. Cheers!
wasn't claiborne a better prospect then milliner coming out of school?..i remember crazy hype on morris
Prospect schmospect. That stuff matters in April and now May, it stops mattering when teams take the field. Most draft hype is made by people with little to zero access to what matters on draft day.
Well he was taken higher in what was probably a stronger draft, but at this point it's pretty meaningless. His NFL tape is 100x more important than his college tape.
Not to mention don't trade your 2nd round pick to move up to #6 overall for a guy that fits your system if you might change your system the next year. You don't get much more of a boneheaded move. Just to recap how well St Louis made out with their trade downs that year, they received the Washington's #6 and #39 overall (2012) , #22 overall (2013), and #2 overall (2014), and then traded down the #6 overall for #14 overall and #39 overall. Damn
The Cowboys have turned into one of the examples of what not to do on any given situation. It's comical.
NO thanks, would rather draft a corner and have em locked up for many years than take Claiborne who will be asking for a new contract much sooner.
Reevaluating this game outside of CP3, the Thunder might have some deeper issues. Now I hadn't thought the Clippers could actually end the Thunder's season, clearly I might be wrong. Ill stick with Thunder in 7, but the panic meter right now is at about a 6, and will go to a 10 if they lose game 2.
have a feeling they are staying put at 18 and taking best wide receiver available, hopefully brandin cooks, I do hope they take their 2nd rounder and another pick or 2 and move up for either tight end of amaro or sefarin-Jenkins, cuz they both wont be available at 49, and with the 3rd rounder move up a little again and take the best corner available, with regards to the tight end position- they need either amaro or Jenkins, both are better pass catchers than blockers, we already have Cumberland who is a great blocker and yes he can catch, but they need a 3 down pass catching tight end like amaro or Jenkins, if we land cooks and either tight end this offense would be the real deal, but like I said they need to move up a little to get either amaro or jenkins
Schmidt's was the house beer at all the OBI's for about five years while the owner feuded with Anheuser Busch and would not carry Budweiser.
Exactly. And in his 2011 rookie season he started 15 games for Rob's defense and played as well as Milliner did as a rookie this season. 2013 for Claiborne was pretty much an injury wipeout. And he was physically limited in the games he did play in. Being stuck in the 24 hour Cowboys vortex (otherwise known as DFW sports coverage) I've read many stories about how good Claiborne can be if he's healthy, learns the system etc. I haven't seen any saying they've soured on him, though I haven't looked either. imo I'd make the trade in a minute, even as high as a 3rd for him if forced to. He was a blue-chip pick just two years ago. He's not a very cerebral player from what I've read and may just need ALOT of coaching. That said, I honestly don't believe that even someone as foolish as Jerry would trade him this quickly, and especially for a 5th round pick. If the rumors are true, let's see how well Idzik can do.
If they could get him for a 4th they would be crazy not to. Unfortunately none of this story is probably true.
