Very glad Philly trades up and takes Cooks before we pick. Wouldn't want the temptation of the Jets considering taking him. Very nice mock sad to see ASJ go to the Patriots. That could come back to hurt us with him and Gronk manhandling our safeties and linebackers.
Ya i like Clinton Dix but i think Idzik wants Geno and Decker to look like great pick ups and a WR is what will make both those moves look genius on his part.
There will probably be a bunch of trades just because certain team will fall in love with players and others will want more picks in such a deep draft.
You think Dallas takes Nix over Jernigan? We both have Donald to TB. I'm currently working on my final mock.
I would we have Allen, Jarrett, Landry, Bush and maybe Reed at safety. We don't need Ha-Ha. There are better safeties available.
Biggest Omission: KYLE FULLER Gilbert is overrated, he's great athlete, but not willing to make a tackle and not physical. Dennard is too physical to a fault, he is going to be a red flag machine in the NFL. Marginal Omission: Xavier S'ua-Filo
I hear ya……man's got KB's game-winning catch vs. Auburn still ringing in his memory bank. On the one hand, I see that catch wherein Benjamin turns and and pulls off a 180-degree adjustment to a pass thrown over his "opposite" shoulder in the endzone for a TD. While impressive, on the other hand, I also see "Crab Legs" Winston hit him square in the mitts--in stride no less--and he fumbles it (along with his at-times sloppy route running). I don't see 1st round in this guy either - lots more WR depth in this draft; heck I'd grab Fresno's State's Devonte Adams before him, a WR that's been pegged below #25 (early 2nd) in many mocks. And, FWIW: Steven Hill's younger than Benjamin.
Reason i like Nix over Jernigan to the Cowboys is because the boys have a man crush on him and when JJ zero`s in on a guy thats all she wrote!
How can you call a kid a bust when he hasnt had one snap at the pro level? His combination of size, speed and athleticism is enough for me. Look at the successful WRs in the league they are all physical specimens with SIZE!!!!!! The backshoulder throw has revolutionized the modern game bud and like it or not players like Benjamin are a must!
A raw player that needs to develop, he should have never left FSU early. He will be drafted in Rd 2, not Rd 1, and struggle especially early in his NFL career. It amazing how so many see the potential problems Benjamin is going to face and you don't.
I think Clinton Dix and Pryor are superior players then ODB plus we had all those 3 in our building , Miami passing on zach martin wont happen either . But i would be glad if the QB rush happens this way cuz it means good players may fall to us.
OBJ seems to be gaining momentum and could be out of the Jet's reach. You're right, Martin will not fall that far.
Considering his age and the season he had, Benjamin needed to come out this year. He has to many tools not to be a 1st rounder. I can't see him slipping past Carolina and definitely not past SF or Seattle.
