Last year at this time I suggested we'd be better off trading our entire 2013 draft to Cleveland for their entire 2014 draft (plus their 2015/16 1st round picks).

No one wanted to lose out on our 2013 draft and my post was quickly voted the dumbest post ever on TGG. haha probably was, but:

One year later, would you now trade Milliner, Geno, Winters, Ivory, Oday, Cambell, and Bohanon to Cleveland for their entire 2014 draft (they pick 3rd) and their 14/15 1st round picks?

A year later, I'm just curious if it was still a dumb ass idea. Thoughts? (be kind!)

They probably aren't picking 3rd overall this year if they pick up another 8 picks worth of players last year w/our picks.

Probably should have let the idea just die last year,

    Why are you excluding Richardson?

Richardson was our Revis/Tampa pick, not part of our regular 2013 draft. We'd still get to keep him. Plus it makes for a better argument.

I'll try to be kind but, I still think it's the dumbest idea ever lol. First of all, it's like asking "do you think it would be worth it to cut off a finger to sleep with Jessica Alba?" Any self respecting person should say no to 1 time sex in exchange for a loss of a finger, but even if you think Jessica Alba's body is worth it she would never agree to something like that. I know it's unrelated, but the point remains the same.

    You'd effectively gain 1 first round pick in your scenario, you do realize that? Had we done what you said, we'd have probably been the worst team in the league in 2013, but more importantly, we'd lose a 1, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 from 2013, and gotten a 1, 1, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.

Any other picks they have this year they gained after we would have made the deal, so this is basically the dumbest way ever to gain 1 extra 1st round pick.

Ok so you'd gain 2 first round picks over the course of 3 years. Just a total shit idea.

Well, 2013 was described as the weakest draft in 10 years. So would I give up 7 shit picks in a weak draft for 7 great players the next year, plus 2 extra first rounders? Yup. Heck, 2013 was such a weak draft even Idzik couldn't find enough players and traded our 4th round pick for Ivory. Should have traded the whole damn thing for this years crop. Could have combined pics and came away with Clowney, Watkins, Ha Ha Dix, AND Johnny Football. Greatest haul in NFL history. But I'm sure we'll be fine with Geno, Winters, and Bohanon.

Dude we got the DROY in last years draft. Completely invalidates your entire premise. And potentially a franchise QB

At least this gives us something worthwhile to talk about rather than something that would never happen like trading an entire draft..

Do we get to pick which finger? Can you imagine the promotional opportunity? You could make a fortune afterward on the talk show circuit and in effect get all kinds of residual tail. I am thinking anything but thumbs and I am down.

Good point, left handed pinky, and as long as I get Oprah as my residual tail I'm in.
