If there were no whistles for the next 10 minutes..and lets say the Penguins score to end the game...they could still go back and review that goal and the Rangers win.

Not until the next whistle could they review no matter how much time passes..and even if the Pens scored the winning goal...they would review it and all that happens after never happened at all..shots on net etc.

I would have loved if that happened...lol but if it did, somehow the Pen fans would say they were robbed...and we woulda started game 2 shorthanded 5-3..lol

Our 3rd line Is our best line they can't match it, they have 2 lines, a roller hockey goalie, and porous defense, our bottom six will dominate them...1 down, 3 to go...LGR!

Jesse Spector: Congratulations Marc Andre Fleury on becoming the 1st goalie in NHL history to give up 2 goals in one overtime. We all knew you could do it!

I was just curious how they could screw the Rangers if that did happen. Glad it didn't come down to that though.

I think they were saying it was not reviewable so when they had their little conference the only thing they discussed was the possible high stick.
Since it is not a penalty we can just have a guy go down and put Fluery in a full nelson any time we are in their zone.

Guys, before we start whipping each other in the ass with our towels in the lockeroom, lets remember its one game. Our PP is still atrocious, we are still taking penalties in the offensive zone, McD is still on planet shitballs and Hank STILL hasn't given us an elite performance.
3 more to go. Lets go get them!!!!!

Can only play game one at a time, we now have home ice, a win in game 2 would really send them reeling, we are better then them overall from player 1 thru 20...but the PP keeps us from dominating

You're absolutely right, no rose-colored glasses here, just having fun with the "pair o' goals" in OT. If the PP doesn't wake up don't be surprised to see Pitt taking some liberties esp. some chippy dirtbag like James Neil taking a run at someone. On the defensive end there were some moments of weak-ass backchecking, an example being on Lee Stampniak's backhand goal. Speaking of Stampniak, if he buried that shot at the end of regulation (after pulling-the-string on Girardi), we're instead talking about blowing another 2-goal lead (a la Philly game 2).

    Here's hoping for a towel-snappin', ass-whippin' win to go up 2-0.
