Tiago has been impressive also, especially his defense. I am hoping the Blazers win this series because Tiago will hold down Aldrige.
Chago had the game of his Spurs career last night, but aside from defense he hasn't been impressive at all prior to that.
Hey Goldilocks, I just saw your post about wishing Tim Duncan wasn't healthy. You've come a long way from being that confused teenager that roots for 9 football teams.
Agree. If they can get them to step up, OKC might be the best team in the playoffs. With Durant shooting, they are incredible
If this goes back to Oklahoma, this is over for Memphis. This past game might have been a blessing in disguise for OKC. Westbrook has changed his game significantly right now from last game.
It's amazing that OKC is considered unbeatable when Durant is hitting his shots, yet people pretty much stop talking when he isn't. The Thunder are easily the biggest latch-on team in the league. If Durant doesn't win a championship this year, people really need to question his MVP status.
Durant was getting a little heat, the problem is he has no problem giving up shots to a lesser player like Westbrook(great player in his own right) and seems OK with it. He needs to understand that he is usually the best player on the court and Tony Allen should never be shutting you down, its frankly embarrassing.
This isn't like football, when a player is elite, he pretty much is able to play at the level that the head coach will design the offense around him. With Durant, he bows to other players. Lack of killer instinct there. Even Tim Duncan defined himself well enough to have the offense revolve around him, and he is a humble man. Durant is hurting his own career here.
I agree, and its a shame I was able to watch Durant in person, seamless shooter, literally effortless from anywhere on the court, if only he had some assassin in him. Tony Allen is like 5'' shorter then him and is just forcing him into some terrible shots, love Durant but seriously hit the fucking bench and get some upper body strength he looks like a no. 2 pencil sometimes.
I dont want credit for the Wizards, the issue with the Wizards was that people didnt get to watch em enough. They werent on TV a lot, had they been, I think a lot more people would have realized that they can play.
Being in NYC I caught a few games and just completely dismissed them, my mistake honestly, they might make it to the ECF's.
Plus they're the Wizards, they were like the Detroit Lions of the NBA for about a decade - talented, and first-class knuckleheads. People ain't going to look past a well-earned stereotype until it gets erased for good.
