Away on vacation in Paris. Checking the dial while e.g. getting dressed, there is nothing, I mean nothing here outside of soccer, soccer, bike racing, soccer, the ATP Portugal Open and the snooker championships on Eurosport. The only thing of note I've stumbled across in passing was a snippet of the Spurs-Mavs on an Arabic channel and a camel race--I''m dead serious--where they have these SUVs driving alongside the racetrack/race-roadway railings with these guys "sitting shotgun" hanging out their windows and yelling to their "desert steeds" while beating the sides of their SUVs with these thicket-like bundles of sticks….it was the craziest/stupidest/funniest (pick one) looking things I've seen sports-wise. The only 'US sports' story mentioned has been the Clippers' bigoted owner shooting himself in the foot. TGG has been my Ranger source when it comes to getting the low down beyond the "who, what, when & where." Here's hoping to reading a good recap of a 'gers win tomorrow morning….and when is this friggin' draft already?!
