Personally I think the penalty was a bit extreme. I dont agree with what he said, but I mean, he is paying Doc Rivers millions, Chris Paul millions, both of the race he apparently hates. This is not a building he owns or a piece of property or a car or artwork or jewelry. It's a FRANCHISE. He doesn't own a piece of private property, he owns the franchise rights to the team and if his fellow franchisees want him out because he's damaging the other franchises or THE franchise as a whole, it's THEIR right and he agreed to it when he joined their club. A piece of paper has his signature agreeing to it. _
The NBA didn't decide to take a stand because he got out of hand. The NBA took a stand because they were about to lose a shitload of money. It had nothing to do with racism. It had everything to do with the bottom line. The playoffs are happening, this is their golden goose.
