I only have to watch them suck for an hour, NBA TV kickoff time at 9. But I'll be hopping between OKC game and Clips game a lot since they overlap.
I think they did it because they think Eastern conference has to be the early game, but the truth is OKC and Chicago are in the same timezone and Memphis/OKC was always considered to be a better series than Chicago/Washington, so I have no idea why they wouldn't have just been smart and done the OKC/LAC doubleheader and leave Chicago/Washington for NBA TV. The three undesirable series were all in the East. A lot of bad basketball. Miami/Charlotte, Indiana/Atlanta, and Chicago/Washington.
Budenholzer has done a lot with that Hawks team. He might be the next top coach, he will obviously need more players though.
I always liked Coach Bud. Seemed like whenever Pop would get tech'd out of the game, they go on to win with Bud calling the plays. Plus, he would always have that comically constipated look on his face.
Manu has been a player coach for a few years now, you can see it during timeouts in most games if you pay attention. I LOL'd the Jason Kidd thing, but if there is a player in the country that can go from player to coach, it's him. Without a doubt.
He does draw up a lot of plays from what I understand. I think you might be right, the guy is simply brilliant though, he is one of my all time favorites.
