Since he is speaking on condition of anonymity I don't suppose it would have been too hard to come right out and state that it's one less team to worry about instead of just being complimentary.
Has anyone considered the cb we wanted resigned with his team and verner might have not been a good fit since he mainly played zone........if u dont like wat where doing go root for someone else we don't need ya
People are allowed to disagree w/ how we are doing things but I don't understand how anyone could bash what we have done overall.
ya but cant we wait until after the draft to see what our team looks like....it is deep with cbs and wrs
This is a draft we will look back to, positive or negative. if we are a championship contender in 2-3 years it will be b/c of this draft, if we are starting over again in 2-3 years it will be b/c of this draft. This may be the most important draft I have seen in all my years watching the Jets.
It is supposed to be the deepest draft in years according to draft experts. we have 12 picks, we acquired those picks w/ an eye on this draft. This is going to define the Idzik era.
The good thing about the roster at this point is that we have solid pieces at just about every position. This draft could make us a deep team.
And that's the problem he is speaking anonymously AND is another AFC GM. Why would anybody think he meant anything he said about another AFC team?
How do you know he even exists and isn't just a made up story by a bored writer who likes the Dolphins or Pats?
it may seem like the most important because u are so much into it. its just as important as many others in team history - especially the ones that occurred with regime (coach and/or gm) changes....i do think if we are starting over again as u say in 2-3 years it will be because of last years draft (QB) more so than the upcoming draft, only because last year we took the QB.
I don't nor do you know that it is. Poe once said believe nothing you hear and only half of what you see. It's a good way to view anything with anonymous sources. If somebody isn't willing to attach their name to their opinion then it isn't worth listening to.
Not really, I'm not a draft guy. I haven't paid any more attention this year than usual. I really can't stand the draft actually b/c you will see a million different opinions on every player but 12 picks in what is supposed to be a strong draft is HUGE. add in the cap flexibility and we are in a great spot if we make the right picks.

You're right, I sometimes need to follow my own advice. People tend to believe the stories that go along with their own opinion and that is the biggest mistake of all.
