I'd also throw in our 2016 and 2017 first round picks, and maybe our 2nds from those years too if that's what it'd take. Solid plan. _
I have a clue....8-8 with Geno. Lots of people like Geno including former QBs like Phil Simms. Someone has to come in and make a major impact, that's why IMO we picked up Vick. I would like to see a string of wins for the Jets and confidence we do this with offense not defense. Sorry, I admire your patience but a few games into the season with added weapons will explain a lot of things. Not sure anyone else would wait a few seasons...remember it's been 45 years since the Jets won a SB.
Thought it was a 33 mil tab in 4 inch paper denominations with the guy who has a stache and top hat lol.
Or Tannenbaum's version of the Wolf theory: take a scrub QB with no upside every year. I think Garropolo can be very good. I don't think he's a fraud just because he dominated lesser competition. The quick release, the ability to set and throw almost instantaneously, alone is golden. Especially for an offense with leadfoot Brian Winters @ LG getting turnstiled so often.
Over his 3 years in nfl he got 20 TD. With out me looking it up...Show me 2 Jets wideout's the combine for 20 TD?
That what gets me about people. You can't help a guy who gets injured and that shouldn't make a trade look bad. Plus I'll bet he still ends up with more yards and TD then any Jet wideout this season with screws in his foot.
You have to take injuries into account. The NFL is a competition that is dominated by the injury factor over time. This is why the Falcons screwed the pooch when they gave up multiple 1sts to move up for Jones. They could be absolutely right about his talent and it just wouldn't matter if he got injured and they lost access to his services as a result. This is why the Redskins got screwed with RGIII, they put too many eggs in one basket. The two teams between them went 7-27 last year. A big component in that 7-27 was how much value was tied up in a couple of injured/ineffective players for the season. If you make 2 1st round picks and they both get hurt, well that's bad luck. If you invest 2 1st round picks in a player and then he gets hurt, well in that case your bad luck is the residue of design.
It doesnt matter for a WR. Show me where they keep a stat on win and losses and that talked about like they do QB?
To say the Redskins got screwed at this point is way to early. So if RG3 goes to be a HOF QB will you say they got screwed?
