Glad no one wanted to listen to me about the Wizards way back in January. I actually hope they get Indiana, because I said it way back then they would win in 6.
They are contenders. That's a fact. That doesn't guarantee they will win, but they are contenders by any definition.
By what standard? And sure, that's just another PG Wall would have to leap just to become the best PG. And that's not including if Rose and Rondo and Lawson comeback healthy and playing at their level.
Fell asleep before around the 4th Q last night. Good for the Wizards, no pressure now and everything is on the Bulls to pull out game 3.
point guards: Chris Paul clearly the best. there's a second tier. Curry, Dragic, Westbrook, Parker, maybe Lowry Rose used to be up there before he decided he didn't want to play anymore. Deron Williams of course was up there when he played in Utah. Rondo was up there before his injury (I'd put him third tier now). Jrue Holliday maybe was up there briefly. third tier: Deron Williams, Rondo, Wall, Kyrie Irving, Rubio, Conley 11th tier: Raymond Felton Like with Pacers/Hawks, he's wrong either way.
Pretty generous ranking of Raymond Felton. You must be a Knicks homer CP3 is just too good. Deadspin had a great article on and so did Grantland about CP3 recently http://regressing.deadspin.com/is-chris-paul-somehow-underrated-1565590230 http://grantland.com/the-triangle/the-clippers-and-the-chris-paul-paradox/ I completely forgot about Conley. Underrated player overall. But yeah Parker isn't the best PG in the league, but he's definitely very good. And for Wall to become the best player next year, it will take a very unique combination of scenarios where Lebron and KD fall off (no signs of slowing down this year) or get injured. Then he has to jump about 4-5 point guards which again is very tough to do. Then on top of that, what about Dwight, Melo, Love, Davis, Aldridge, Blake, etc etc. Hey if Wall does it, he means he makes an AWESOME jump which would be fun to watch. But let's not overreact to game where he had 16 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds.
I forgot Lawson and Lillard. They'd both be third tier to me. That would be 14 PGs, top 3 tiers, the good ones.
Miami beats the Heat and Bobcats to win the game. Really made some silly plays to keep Charlotte in the game but still won
