Manish Mehta @MMehtaNYDN 1m 2014 regular-season schedule released tomorrow at 8 pm EST on @NFLNetwork. #nyj
Its either the Vikings or Titans. I just don't know about a Week 1 divisional game. Good bet the Jets get the 1PM game since CBS can't play 4PM games Week 1 and Giants are the home team but get the 4PM game: I bet this will be the slate of games we get here locally: Broncos/Seahawks Jets/Vikings Falcons/Giants Patriots/Packers Bengals/Colts Cardinals/Raiders Will probably be the games the NY/NJ/CONN market get if you count TNF/SNF/2 MNF games.
Was there ever 3 Superbowl winning QB's coming to Metlife/Giants in the same season. This looks like an exciting season to hop on the upper deck season tickets.
So do you and Jay believe the Jets will be a better team in week one or week 6? I don't see how a reforming offense and totally new secondary can't benefit from some games together before the big test.
I agree that it takes a few games to get in the grove of things, but I'll take that chance and would like to catch the Patriots while they are also trying to get in the grove of things. The Jets will be better Week 6 of course, but you never know what could happen early in the season... We almost beat the Patriots Week 2 but nobody wanted to catch that game.
In season openers we are 4-1 under Rex w/ the lone loss being by 1 point. since 2010: NE 1st half of seasons: 22-10 NE 2nd half of seasons: 29-3 under Rex: 1st half of seasons: 22-18 2nd half of seasons: 19-21 it's more about getting NE early.
I think there's a good chance they are our home opener but we'll see. I don't subscribe to any conspiracy theory about their corners. I can't believe anyone is worried about Browner. That Seattle secondary was really good but they look much better than they are b/c of the front 7.
Don't certain pieces of the schedule usually end up getting leaked ahead of the official announcement? Haven't seen anything at all yet today.
No specifics yet just that the Jets have the 9th hardest schedule and play 5 of the 6 best passing offenses this year. I assume he meant yards so that would be 5 of these: Denver, New Orleans, Detroit, San Diego, Chicago and Green Bay. Probably not New Orleans.
flex scheduling can now begin in week 5 http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap20...arly-as-week-5?campaign=Twitter_atl_rosenthal
