45+ years of failure. If you want to grade on a collegiate level, LOSING a SB once in awhile would get you the B you are talking about. Otherwise complete failure. Complacency has no place in football. Ask any head coach if they are happy just making a wild card spot. Players don`t care. They are just happy when the season is over and they can spend their millions. Most fans aside from Jets fans are never complacent when their team loses in the playoffs. Jets fans seem to be happy if they just beat the Dolphins Bills and Patriots at least once every season. Another reason why I dropped of the STH list. Got tired of mediocrity chasing fans. Win it all or you failed. Thats the bottom line. Woody can do whatever the hell he wants. He`s the owner. He wants profits year after year regardless of success. But we all know, as well as Woody, that winning a SB will bring the most profit to his pockets and drain the rest of our pockets. He wants EVERY penny you are willing to give him. I hate that saying, "we had a good season". If you didn`t win the championship, you sucked. Thats how I`ve seen it forever now. Win it all or get the F outta here. Move the franchise somewhere else and let another team into the NY/NJ area. I`ve certainly had enough of the bullshit the Jets have shown us the last 4+ decades. They were a cheap NFL ticket. One of the cheapest for quite some time(never forced their fans to buy those senseless, complete waste of money, pre-season games until the NFL said they had to). They were also the cheapest regular season game tickets until FATcells joined in. After that, they just take whatever you are willing to give. Back in the early 90`s Jets fans knew the team sucked ass. They just wanted to be spoilers in any sense. Usually that meant beating the Fins(almost always), the Pats and the Bills(since they were the team to beat in the AFC East). And ofcourse the normal good teams like the Cowboys, 49`ers, Steelers(which they hardly ever beat)and whomever else was the hot team. And moreso than not, they pretty much lost those games. I think thats when tailgating took over the Jets Gameday Experience. It was all about the tailgate and the cheap NFL ticket. No longer though, yet you still have the same crap Jets team. SOJ as they are called. It`s been 45 years now. TWO damned AFC East Titles only. It`s laughable if you ain`t serious about the Jets. DISFUCKINGUSTING if you are. They probably went up some but as far as I have seen with Jets PSls? They have gone down dramatically. We all know we can purchase tickets to any game we want WITHOUT the burden of paying for a PSL. There are some, and very few seats, that have been selling OK. Nothing to consider an "investment" to make lots of money from. The stadium is a piece of shit. I`d much rather the Jets play in a REAL shitty stadium with bleacher seats for much less cost, than share this shithole with the Giants, who were the ones that wanted this stadium EXACTLY the way it is. Oh yeah, they have a Lombardi to display in it too. The Jets have green lighting fixtures for night games.

well, since Leon was the only other owner I`ve been around for, Leon tried. Shea was fucking the Jets over. They weren`t even allowed to play a home game there if the Mets were still in season(playoffs/Post Season games). After the Jets won the SB in 69, they didn`t play a home game until late October because the Mets were playing still. I think it was week 7 when the Jets finally played a game for their "Championship Bragging Game". Which at that point they were sucking pretty badly and it just wasn`t anything good to celebrate at that point. Shea Stadium was NOT friendly to the NY Jets. Thank God Leon got them outta there.

U know that the NYJs played in Shea in 68 when then beat Oak in a PO game that propelled them SB3?
