I like Diaz, wish we put him in instead of Stralman...But I think they want the right pair of LHD - RHD out there

It made me laugh when Stralman declined the rangers contract offer, Rangers are prob better off with Diaz anyway.

i know ths is touchy with some folks here, but if Emery outplays Hank we have no chance in this series. That just simply cannot happen, regardless of "highlight reel" type of saves or whatever. Rangers, of course, have to bury opportunities of which they have had plenty. Hank's overall body of playoff work is a wash- for every game that he won single handedly, he has lost one where an inferior goalie bested him.

I agree. Rangers had WAY too many chances to put pucks in the net last game.

Emery did outplay Hank in Game 2. Still, that loss was far more on the lack of capitalizing on scoring chances, IMO. I know the Rangers out-chanced the Flyers but they did absolutely nothing with it after going up 2-0. For as high quality of a chance as they were able to get on Emery, his degree of difficulty on the shots was not high. Every puck was in his bread basket. A beer league goalie wouldn't struggle stopping shots that are right at him.

Emery did NOT Outplay Hank. Emery outplayed the piss-poor shooting of the Rangers who kept shooting the puck into his bread basket.

Considering they're a puck possession team, they probably play Stralman because he's been the team's best driver of possession all season long.

Any Callahan apologists want to compare his POST-Season stats with St. Louis?

Callahan wins you games, St. Louis wins you a Stanley Cup

How does the league respond to that elbow from Read to Carcillo?

It was so blindsided and knocked his neck around...

Now that Shannahan is gone, perhaps it is once again illeagal to intentionally injure rangers

Carcillo in the face of the Flyer fan giving him the finger was a classic and why a guy like him HAS TO BE in the lineup no matter what every game...every game. He takes the attention away from the pussier Rangers and he has to be in the lineup. My bad...I was stating J T Miller when of course it should have been Carcillo. Even without the goal did his job and I doubt there is any chance he misses another game the rest of the season.

Oh..and Hank outplayed Emery this game....lol...sorry...couldn't resist. Hank was solid enough.

MAC? You have to wonder if this guy is concussion free. He looked lost out there but played a much better 3rd period.

Nash continues to look like he has no desire to score a real goal but is trying really hard to break the record for most shots on net without a goal...I think he might do it...he literally will shoot the puck from the bench if he could.

If there was no way that Callahan would resign, this trade NOW looks like a no brainer.

Somebody needs to tell Klein he is a defensive defenseman...he is out of position so often.

Poulliott should have a drug test after that first period.

All in all..great game...still not sure how far this show can go...it seems like we lucked out playing this team.
