Why are you guys even entertaining a TENNESSEE TITANS troll. Dolphins, Pats, Bills, ok. But I can't think of a team more irrelevant than the Titans. Especially now that they lost their only offensive weapon.
The fact that you think Johnson was the Titans top offensive weapon shows that you probably know little about football outside of the Jets. Kendall Wright was by far the Titans top offensive weapon last year. It wasn't even close. Question for you. If Johnson is so great then why did he only take one visit from one team?
I have to admit I thought Locker was going to be the best QB in his draft but I was wrong. I think Locker is gone after this season.
People didn't want Chris Johnson. While I don't know what to be true I think the general opinion around the league was that he's easy to defend and a tough guy to coach because he plays the way he wants to play. In reading through this entire thread it's amazing how little most people on this thread truly know about Chris Johnson. Don't say you weren't warned....
I honestly approciate your open-mindness about it. "Something to watch" is exactly my approach. As it stands now, I'm leaning toward "Pats are in trouble" line. Some of it, probably a lot, is due to my hopes and wishful thinking. If nothing else NE-NYJ should be even more fun to watch.
You maybe right or wrong IDK. I do know adding CJ makes the Jets a better team and that all I care about. I don't think he going to be a big problem at all or Idzik wouldn't had sign him.
It's a lot of money for a role player which is what he will probably be. Of course Ivory is injury prone. Goodson is probably gone. And Bilal like another poster said faded toward the end of the season. With fewer reps they can all be more effective. Except maybe Ivory. Power backs often are better later in the game after more carries and wearing down the defense.
Thanks for posting this. Why in the world did our #37 dive there at the end? Was he hoping to make the ground shake and throw Johnson off-balance or something? He had no chance.
Tanny's approach wasn't even all that successful short term, and it certain screwed the team long term. Idzik's approach IS sustainable and is the smartest and best approach.
That would be Yeremiah Bell, and honestly I was impressed he stayed as close as he did (even if Johnson already had it in cruise control).
Hopefully he produces on the field, he isn't going to be lighting up the airwaves. That was a brutal interview.
I assume there is nothing better to do in Tenn than to troll this board or you don't have a life or both. As the day goes on be forewarned other posters like Falco will lose patience with you. It sounds like major sour grapes you have lost what most NFL commentators believe to be a very good pick up for Jets. Who is your GM and what is HE doing this really should be your concern.
Ill keep it simple, Ill take the Jets roster right now over the Titans roster. Titans have no identity, don't have a dominate unit, and have gone nowhere over the last 5 seasons.
