Seemed like the majority of their posters thought it was a positive signing until *somebody* started trolling them.

You wouldn't happen to be somebody that trolls rival forums and then comes to his home forum to brag, would you?

The Jets are beginning to really layer some weapons in around Geno Smith. If he fails at this point it won't be for lack of assets around him. Still needed: another WR to play X and a TE to give the Jets some quality depth and hopefully take the job from Cumberland or force him to play up to his potential. Another quality offensive lineman wouldn't hurt either.

You know what's funny.... I love the game and the league, but comparing which fan base is stupider is like a bunch of asian guys arguing about who has a smaller penis. Sure, someone is micro sized, but none of them are rolling out a jaw dropper anyway.

There are good fans in every fan base, but way more crappy fans across the board. The Fins may have us Jet fans beat out in terms of ignorant assholes, but let's not get too high on ourselves for that.

You wouldn't catch me dead on that forum homie. That's juncs job. I was just reading the reaction on there to it. Also searched for the Pats one, but there doesn't seem to be a thread on there about it

    From Walter Football - http://walterfootball.com/freeagents2014recap.php

Jets sign RB Chris Johnson (2 years, $8 million): D Grade

    --------------------

This guy has hated on everything the Jets have done this offseason. One more reason to hope that CJ kicks ass this year.

Yeah, the best part of this is that diva RBs are far less harmful to teams than diva WRs. And they can be replaced far more easily if they start causing trouble. As much as I like the idea that the Jets just signed CJ, they were 6th overall in rushing behind a shoddy OL with Ivory and Powell.

I just think his, uh, eccentricity should not be ignored.

I think the Pats are just fine with Dont'a Hightower, Jerod Mayo, and Jamie Collins at linebacker. And Wilfork was hurt last year but he was downright dominant as recently as 2012.

Okay, just seemed to be a pretty timely post. I won't deny that I have checked rival forums before for reaction, it just looked like there wasn't a huge amount of trash in the thread you were bringing attention to.

Actually not much at all, as it made me think the opposite of "Lol at the guys on fin heaven "...

Really just need to beef up that o-line plus a receiver. So close to having a solid offense.

Well it was more focused on the few posters claiming the big free agent signing deal. Just funny that they say that after that offseason they had last year.

Good signing because of the kind of talent he is.

That's awesome. They are more upset about nyjunc than they are the Jets FA signings.

I'm totally cool with this signing, but goddamn I feel like the Jets haven't drafted their own decent three down back since Freeman McNeil.

Walterfootball is good for the frequency of the updates but the analysis I can live without
