All a team like Denver has to do is be close and he's gone. Guarantee team cheapskate offered 1 year for 3-4 million. That isn't going to lure him from a much better team like Denver offering something close.
Like I said, unless of course his off the field issues are a concern it should come down to who is the better player. Plenty of guys come back from ACL injuries nowadays and resume their careers.
jeez guys there is no reason to be pissed off he didn't sign a deal right away it supposedly went well, i feel like sometimes people forget these players are actually people. he's probably discussing the whole situation with his family and friends
When these guys leave without a deal, they often sign somewhere else. Right now his agent is on the phone with Denver saying the Jets offered 1 year at 3.5 million and for 1 year, 3 million, he'll go to Denver.
How do you know he left? Decker was there two days. Just because their meeting ended doesn't mean he left. For all we know he's going back tomorrow to wrap things up when his agent gets there.
