Or it could be that the deal is already in the bag.

I think the agent can probably work remotely with Idzik. I heard that NFL GM's and agents have this new software called "email" that they can even use on these wacky devices some people are calling "smart phones" which also allow you to have direct voice conversations from remote locations.

I know it sounds crazy but I swear I read about it somewhere. I'll see if I can find the link.

I mean they only want geno throwing 15-20 times this year.. Gonna need backfield versatility. MM is a beast at utilizing the screen pass. Thats gonna be sick when CJ zooms pass everybody

I'm not saying he isn't useful but I think he's more valuable to us as a 3rd option than the 6th or probably 7th round pick we'd get in return. If Ivory or Johnson went down, we'd have no back to come in and keep our running game solid if we didn't have Powell. It would make us change our whole offense around and you really don't want to have to do that mid season. Powell's performance this year will dictate what he makes next year as a FA, so he will play hard when he gets his shots.

Think he meant per game... While not confirmed, I don't think they want Geno airing it out 30 times a game.. He is not ready for that yet.

Don't wanna risk injury with Big Shel....prefer Bohanon to get the goal line role down to pat. Hopefully he can improve off that.

Which is why he'll be on the bench throwing 0 times per game until Vick is injured.

it's silly to go into any game saying your QB will only throw x # of times. Each game is different and the situations dictate how much he should pass.

I agree, but I think last year they let Geno do to much in the beginning and that hampered his development.. Once they reeled him back in towards the middle to tail end of the season, he started getting his confidence back and started to make plays.
