It would be positively shocking if the Jets don't get this done today. The whole world reported the Jets were the closest to coming to terms with him when a trade was still in the picture and you have to assume he wouldn't even be there now if that gap hasn't already been closed.
i think some serious unspoken news is how no beat writers knew about this before it hammered, we really aren't a circus anymore and idzik is running a tight ship love it
i mean im sure a team would like him.. he can be a nice #2 back..if we sign cj...he would be our 3...a a #3 rb barly plays and could be a drafted rb we might take....i dont know i think a #3 should be more then a package type player and more of a special teams player...powoll doesnt
gotta give it up to Idzik for that. I've been critical of some of his offseason moves, but i love that he put the clamp down on these tabloid beat writers during their feeding frenzy of hackness...
If CJ took a physical, met with the FO, left the facility, then visited the Giants and came back today...I'd say he's going to be signed at some point today. Good news. I've said in many posts, the Jets need a pass catching RB that can gain YAC. CJ is this player. I hope to see him in Green.
some guy a few pages back edited an Ian Rappoport tweet as a joke, he must of accidentally took it seriously
Andrew Brandt @adbrandt 10m While Chris Johnson visits the Jets, agent Joel Segal visits my class at @Villanova_Law. Hmmm..that doesn't sound like an early answer is forthcoming.
