I have no idea who is going to win but I think it's cool that the only golf tournament God claimed as His own is located in Georgia.
Heading over to Augusta now. Pretty excited, first time attending The Masters. Going to walk the entire course once then going to plant myself at 12, pretty much my favorite hole in all of golf. Beautiful day today, clear clear blue skies. Come on Phil, come on Freddie. _
awesome , one of my sporting bucket lists, been to st andrews, olympics, msg, epl, if you see an aussie golfer tell them qantas are no longer serving VB or crownies
I don't know what that means but will do. Yeah, I'm going to play St. Andrews in the next year or 2. _
Yeah that's what I heard. It's like the opposite of the US Tennis Open. A couple of bucks for a sammich. I do need a beer right about now. _
Threw a few bets on Dufner, Westwood and Rory to win. Not really big into golf but this should keep me interested.
Wow what a really cool event. Literally a perfect golf tournament. Augusta National is just spectacular. Impeccably manicured, stunningly beautiful, the TV does it justice but then again not fully. The fairways are lush, the greens incredibly well groomed and undulating, no mulch or dirt-everything that isn't turf is covered in brown pine needles, not a speck of trash to be seen, it's as if it's a golf course fantasyland. Walked the entire course, basically saw all the big names a few times. Surprised at how big Els and Singh are. Ricky Fowler looked like a human highlighter. Stood 5 yards from Phil when he teed off on 9, saw some great great shots. The most relatively disappointing part was Amen Corner because it's the only part of the course where you can't get close. 12 is my favorite hole in the golf world buy you're behind the t-box and you don't get the same feel you get on TV. It's still beautiful to watch, you're just not close enough to feel it. Ended up the last hour or so on the hill above 16 and watched a bunch of threesomes come through which was great. Gallacher put a ball in almost the same spot Bubba Watson hit that ball out of the trees and we were standing literally 10 feet behind him, was pretty cool. Weather was spectacular, literally not a cloud in the sky, sunny, mid 70s, nice little breeze, and about 5 the moon came out and looked beautiful over the 16th fairway. Food was great and incredibly cheap- had to have the Pimiento Cheese sandwich which is a classic. Beers were 3 bucks. Really well thought out shopping experience - you go in and buy hats, shirts, golf stuff, everything Masters related (that you can only buy there - they don't sell it anywhere else or online) then you go next door and they have a shipping service rather than carrying the stuff around with you. Some serious talent on display. Gotta love southern women. _
