Id probably take him round six or seven. Anyone taken that late has a very low probability of making the roster anyway. With four picks in round four im sure we will have a plethora of late round chances by the 5th.
fuck Keller. I'd rather bring back Winslow. he's on roids, smokes pot,and jacks off in parking lots, but he didn't drop one ball all year
I thought I remember hearing that this was a good WR class (could totally be wrong, I'm not up on college ball lately) but I figured by the time we get to pick at 18 the real gems are gonna be gone anyway. The Stephen Hill bust looms large right now because we really shouldn't be in this predicament if he stepped up. That's what you get though, for drafting another combine freak. Should have learned that lesson from Gholston.
this wide receiver draft class is.. amazing fantastic unbelievable the deepest in 10 years godly but i guess "weak wr draft" works too
Yeah like somebody already mentioned I was referring to the year Hill was drafted. It's no doubt that this year is very deep at the position. I could see the Jets coming out of this draft with a starter and another down the road potential starter at WR depending on how things shake.
Thats his point. There are 25 guys who you are not sure will be there at 18 but obviously they cant all be gone. Take the best player available that has fallen to us. Dont draft someone who is sure to be there.
A lot of that is exaggeration. I'd say there are more like 10-12 players who definitely won't be there. Anyone who claims more than that don't really know what they are talking about.
Wrong thread for this so I'm going to put my reply in the Draft Forum under "Players Considered Not Likely to make it to 18".
Yet you are a big fan of Marqise Lee, I don't get it. The majority of mocks don't have him above the Jets at 18.
Very few people who do mocks are enough of an expert to really know. I don't think I saw a single mock anywhere last year that had Sheldon Richardson above 20.
