Yea but he woulda been a decent depth guy,I honestly wouldn't be mad if we brought Keller back if we don't draft a TE in first two rounds

Definitely wouldn't mind bringing Keller back at least to see how he does in TC but that knee injury was one of the most horrific I've ever seen on the football field, right up there with Lattimore.

So if they sign anyone they are injury prone and done but if they don't sign them they would have been decent depth. We can pretty much plug those 2 posts in for you based on your post history.
He broke his fibula last year and is going on 32 years old and the reason we probably couldn't have gotten him at that price was because he signed with the team where 3 of his old coaches happen to be.

Stevie Johnson is a potential cap casualty...do we go after him if he's released? I would consider it

Not sure why you think he would be a cap casualty, they would only gain $25,000 and would have almost $8.5m in dead money. Basically he is paid for and they see no benefit from cutting him.

Per RotoWorld, "Coming off an injury-riddled 2013, Johnson is set to count $8.5 million against the cap. He's a candidate to be released following Buffalo's trade for Mike Williams, with second-year receivers Robert Woods and Marquise Goodwin both capable of taking on expanded roles. Because releasing Johnson carries $8.475 million in dead money, he could be asked to restructure. If the Bills ultimately decide to move on from Johnson, they would free up just $25,000 in cap space."

We've seen dumber things done and maybe the Bills have their eye on someone in the draft, OBJ or Evans as they are slotted at #9.

They just paid a $1.75M roster bonus 2 weeks ago, anything is of course possible just don't see the $25K cap savings worth it. The $3.9M salary this year is not that high.

Didn't realize he got almost 2 Mil in a bonus...you're right wouldn't make sense. But then again they could just cut the cord like what happened to DeSean. I'm still interested in Sidney Rice coming to play for us...big bodied veteran receiver

We Def need a big play WR, something that Hill was supposed to be. I think Idzik will look at the draft for wr position and Te but we can get our home Run threat in Chris Johnson.

Man that sucks for him. 2nd round talent might fall to Day 3 because of that.

Would love to take him with one of the 4th's.

to be honest, Hill was always a project. he came from a school that primarily ran the ball.

Torn acl on Oline is a tough injury to get past. You dont think he ends up a UDFA?

The Hill pick was a huge reach. Trading up to make it was one of the worst draft moves of all time.

I was reading that he was a projected 4th round pick.. This injury will drop him to 7th or UDFA.. He is going to miss all this season.. Nobody is going to waste a 4th on a guy that they may only have for 3 years.

29 catches in his best season in college ball and we traded up in the 2nd round to get him. How can you possibly have a guy with Hill's production in college anywhere near the 2nd round let alone good enough to trade up for in the 2nd round?

Answer: the same way you have Dewayne Robertson at the top of the 1st round and good enough to trade up for in the 1st round.

I've seen him in 2nd-3rd round pick in mocks.

Marcus Cannon had cancer and the Pats took him in round 5.....now he's an important starter for them(Well if Vollmer doesn't comeback healthy and in solid form). Thomas will get drafted somewhere day 3. I'd gladly take him if we want a guard.
