Its pretty obvious its a concern. If it wasn't a concern the Eagles front office wouldn't have cut him.

    "

"Funny how it always comes back to Woody with Jets fans." You're right, he is JUST the owner of the team--he probably has nothing to do with the team at all. And you call other people "stupid fans."????? And, as to your claim that you eventually HAVE to spend cap money, that is a percentage calculated over a 4 year period. The way he's going, Idzik will need to spend a LOT to comply in the 4th year. Not to worry, I'm sure he'll comply but the point is that it wouldn't hurt to spend a LITTLE more now to complete a decent roster. Ask annual playoff teams like Denver or New England if they are concerned with keeping every penny of cap space. I'd like to see the Jets strike a balance between Tannyiodiot spending money like a drunken sailor (Sanchez, Holmes, Harris) and Idzik signing players mostly on the cheap.

Stop. the detective reached out via phone to himself and the eagles. He returned the call, the eagles did not. If thepolice question you it's not informal, did you read the line where the detective said, he was never considered a Suspect. Nj.com, left out all that sort of info to write a juicy story

It has nothing to do with his "gang ties" to me. He is the offensive version of Revis except without the football ability. He is simply not a #1WR, he's only deep threats. Sure he is an elite deep threat but so was Mike Wallace. DJax is not worth $10M a year and if he doesn't get it this year, he'll be holding out until he gets that contract again. He's a head case ON the field as well. People seem to forget him fumbling away TD's with his taunting. He's a bad locker room influence and doesn't get it done on the field to make it worth #1WR money. I'm glad Idzik has avoided him.

I separated the 2 parts of your post because I couldn't figure out what you were trying to say.
Are you now admitting they did indeed question him even though you have denied this twice?
"If the police question you it is not informal" What does this mean? Are you going to try and claim something laughable like, he wasn't a suspect so it wasn't really questioning.

Why don't you do yourself a favor and go read the NJ.Com story because you keeping posting
about it but obviously have no idea what was in the article.

Athletic freaks, game-changing talent and with high ceilings and low risk signings. Not all of them will workout, but the ones that do, watch out.
    -------------------------------

I'm so happy that this is one of the first GM's in greater NY sports that doesn't embrace brand name players, and a win-now mentality.

I'm really looking forward to the next new years under Idzik's leadership.

    Breath of fresh air.

Any self respecting Jets fan that buys into the narrative of Cimini or Mehta should probably stop following football altogether and leave it to the adults.

I don't follow what your saying at all... You think a casual phone call with the police is a formal questioning? I read both articles. I don't jump to the same conclusions you do off the nj.com article. I feel the follow article which clarifies via police statements is more convincing.

Lol, I truly can't believe this is still something that has to be explained to the same people over and over again. People get a thought in their head and if that thought is that they can run through a brick wall, they'll try over and over again until they pass out.

No you wouldn't unless you had a contract that prevents you from being fired. You are an at will employee even with a union. Only difference is that a union will protect you and negotiate based on whatever agreement they have.

But you can be fired for any reason not a violation of protected class statutes, and gang association is not one of them. You would have no lawsuit for being fired for any non-protected class issue.

Welp the Skins signed DJax, our GM must be a complete idiot. If a model organization like the Skins wanted him, why didn't we?

I guess this is OT or whatever but it's strange that you have been a member here for 11 years and 90% of your posts have been made in the last 3 months, and they are mostly antagonistic troll posts

I am not sure what the point of this is. First of all, other than Jet FO homers, do you seriously believe that anyone who follows the NFL considers the JETS to be a model organization?

If you do, I got news for you - you're wrong.

As for the Skins, you paint with too broad a brush. Are you saying EVERY move they make is a bad one? Is there not a single player on their team that you would want, even under their current contract?

You also ignore that their management is changed up. A new HC and coaching staff. Shanahan is gone. They have a question mark in Griffin's health, but an excellent backup Qb. And Griffin might well get healthy.

Finally, if you still say that the fact that Snyder still owns the team means they will suck despite the changes made, then what does that say about Woody and the Jets?

If you want to say Jackson was a bad signing, make your case. Don't depend on the Skins' reputation to make it for you.

People who live in glass houses....
