I cant believe how poor this forum has become over the last few months - just really bad posts and the same thing over and over and over again Where have most of the decent posters gone? to another site? maybe its just the offseason, I don't know, but I just cant get any enthusiasm for this place nowadays

Come off the ledge, dude. It's a bit of an overpay given the guy's injury history, but it doesn't significantly hamper our ability to sign other guys, nor does it mean that Idzik has stopped looking to upgrade at the position.
Cro might stay on the field, but he won't be useful, especially with a bad hip, reluctant to get surgery. Cro was one of the worst CBs in the league last season, I don't think he'll have a resurgence at this stage.
Everyone bitches about how bad Cro was, how PFF rated him #103 out of 109 corners, but then bitches when we didn't bring him back? Obviously the jets organization knows his hip is a serious problem and it's in our best interests to move on from him.
You are right UK, as one of the long time guys here I shouldn't have gotten into it with Falco and made the board more of what I hate so I do apologize to everyone for derailing the thread and getting caught up in garbage. I just don't respond well to attacks and name calling so first instinct was to go back. But my bad and I won't go there anymore. Back to football..... I still think we will be going corner in the first 3 picks even with this signing. We have a ton of corners now, but I don;t know how comfortable I feel with anyone except Milner. I really liked what I saw from him at the end of the year and think he is going to have a very good 2014 season. Wilson is Wilson as the nickel, but I am very concerned about the 2nd corner with the way Rex uses corners. Like others have said this could cause Rex to have to change his approach front to back rather than back to front which might not be a bad thing.
The members that have multiple warnings recently will be perma banned with any more issues. I'm tired of the personal attacks, so straighten up your act ..or GTFO. Some don't take the mods warnings seriously.
I like that we are building depth, but this is the second guy we signed today who can't stay on the field. $3 million seems a bit high for Patterson. Guess we'll see.
I agree with that,if all it woulda took was another 500k to bring Cro back and Cro returned to form after recovering from his hip issue then it makes zero sense.I'm gonna be so mad at Idzik if Cro has a pro bowl type of year in Arizona
