I beg to differ about 09. I think we would have had a great game against them on the ground, and a much better chance to win that year than the following against the Packers.

So when it is your opinion or someone else who shares your opinion, it is informed. When the person disagrees with you, they don't understand the game, are basing the opinion on stats etc. I get it. By the way, I never said Namath was one of the 10 greatest QBs of all time. All I have done is argue with you about your ridiculous arguments that his is overrated, was not very good at all, doesn't belong in the HOF, was inferior to other QBs of the same era etc. And your arguments are based on stats and a Gerry Philbin interview. I know I am not going to change your mind, because you are the most pig headed self absorbed poster on this board. But the absolute irony of your criticism of others who don't share your lofty opinion of Sanchez because "they don't understand the game" is telling when, in the opinion of every poster who saw Namath play, your opinion of Namath suffers from the same problem. You didn't see him play and you compare him to what you know - the NFL of the 80s forward when there is no comparison of eras.
That's not true at all, I have never blasted anyone for backing Joe. I call out the misinformed when they post nonsense such as not seeing the circumstances around our offense the last few years. You are the one that always attacks me b/c I discuss reality about your hero and you can't take it. He is vastly overrated, that isn't even debatable. He is a HOFer w/ maybe 2 years of HOF quality play under his belt, most consider him one of the best ever so yeah he is overrated. That doesn't mean he sucked, he had great years, decent years and bad years. he was vital to the growth of the game but was overrated as a player. I have never once compared him to QBs of the 80s through today. I always compare him w/ his peers and he always comes up short against his peers. Gerry Philbin's opinion should mean less to me than a guy who worships Joe? there you go again w/ the childish insults b/c someone dares to criticize your hero.
