I hope I'm wrong but I really believe Izdik is in over his head and I think his ego going to be a problem. He seems the only opinion he cares about is his. We know people are going to bring up the draft but last season draft he only drafted one good player.
You know I agree with that. In this situation he gets a pass too. He will say to risky what did you want from me. When in actuality d/jak would never agree to the shit contract the jets would have tried to propose. Lol
Lol. Just wait until it time for Mo time to get his big contract. I bet he low balls him and will be gone.
Nah Woody will fire him before that happens... At a certain point Woody is going to have to put his foot down.. This tit for tat shit that Idzik is doing is bull.
I agree and I would love being dead wrong on Idzick and being told I told U so with no excuses. On the other hand it will be no fun if I had to respond to fellow Jet fans with "I told you so". I will raise a toast to to my fellow Jet fans. "Here's hoping I am dead wrong about Idzik".
Woody big part of the problem... He's an ago maniac who loved tannenbaum e moves, then threw him under the bus and hired this accountant. God only knows what hs thinking
Tannenbaum was an accountant as well. Still the team always seemed exciting and he did get to two AFCC games. With this guy it's like watching paint dry.
LOL. At least Tannenbaum tryed. Not taking up for him but u can't blame a guy for taking chances. Now with that said Tanne was also over his head.
I didn't like tannenbaum either. Lol so I guess I always need someone to hate, but at least I knew where he was going. To win it all So I didn't bitch about him. Idzik is tits on a bull as far as I'm concerned
There is zero chance jackson goes to the pats after the hernandez debacle Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That what I don't get teams that go 8-8 the pervious season don't rebuild when your as young as the Jets. Plus have 30mil in cap space. What you do is go out and sign vets and fill your holes.
I really am of two minds about players who are one way or another in that general category of bad role models. For me it's a factor. I didn't like Richard Sherman mouthing off. One guy I really used to hate was Jimmie Johnson when he coached the fish, it was embarassing how he would go on and on complaining to the officials alll the time instead of focusing on coaching his team. Talk about a pispoor role model for kids looking at how a manager could not manage himself. I am sure others have their favorite examples. But Jackson has not been shown to have done anything really wrong. He has questionable friends and has image problems largely of his own making. Last I checked that does not make him guilty of high crimes or anything of the sort. The Jets right now are left with a set of increasingly bad options in filling holes on the roster. In the end I would not see much downside to a contract with big up front money but not much in the way of backend guarantees. The Jets could bring him to NYC, tell him if he screws up he's gone, and how much would be lost if next off season he were cut? If the right deal were structured, the Jets could take a gamble on him. But they won't, it seems, and each day goes by with a plausible plan to fill those holes looking less and less likely.
Don't get it twisted. I give him no credit. I want to state that for the record so all the believers can attack me harder. Lol
