how many periods for ST. Louis now without a goal? 39? 42? I stopped counting. I was happy the way the boys came back Friday night after being down 2-0 even though they lost. look like they did before the headache Olympic break, that's a good thing.

What's that you say Mr. Robinson, Callahan has left and gone away, hey, hey, hey.......hey I'm just screwing around.
If this were the SATs it'd be like:

Matt Robinson is to Ryan Callahan what junc is to
    1. Mark Sanchez
    2. North Carolina
    3. the "average" fan

On a serious note, what was annoying was that (even with a lead) Richards was passing up some serious, uncontested scoring opportunities from inside the vacinity of the right circle on a number of occassions and was trying to force passes to la petite vingt-huit (the little #28). That said, that little runt has got a sweet stick and reminds me of a pint-size Alex Kovalev in that he could play "keep away" with the puck in a phone booth.

Game-wise: Oilers looked horrible. Their backline was totally vulnerable to both dump-and-chase forechecking and neutral ice passing. On Mats short-handed goal, while it was a nice, quick wrister by MZ, for THREE Oilers to be standing on the other side of the goal and leaving Mats alone was criminal. One thing about a game that's in the bag is being able to take your eyes off the play/puck and just for kicks, focus on the "Brian Boyle Ice Capades" - the guy's skating is a thing of beauty ..... some of his "peeling back" pivots and turns .... guy reminds me so much of Scott Hamilton.
    : )

I really hope the Rangers do NOT play the Lightning in the first round. All the Callahan apologists will just turn on the Rangers and root for Callahan to beat them.

That's not a possible first round matchup

These are the odds for first round matchup:

    1.6% Boston
    3.0% Pittsburgh
    79.2% Philadelphia
    14.4% Columbus
    1.0% Washington
    0.4% New Jersey

Would you kindly explain how I got this egg on my face when TB & NYR are 4-5 in the conference standings?

Again, I must praise the recent play of Pulliot. He plays monster defense for a forward.

For goalies with at least 20 games played, Cambot is #1 league-wide in Save PCT (.940) and #2 in GAA (1.66), and #2 in number of shutouts per game (0.15)

The dude is totally going to walk after next season if the Rangers don't cough up some serious cash

I would day he is definitely playing Leetch quality defense this season. Let's see if he can do it for as many years as Leetch did.

One of Brians greatest attributes was his ability to keep the puck in at the point on the PP
