because take away the gang allegations and he still may be on the Eagles, so the Jets cap space would be irrelevant. you can't take away those allegations simply from him being a free agent. you either address him as a free agent with those allegations in mind or the entire "what it" is a different situation entirely.
Not true. It's money reasons, these allegations are as bad as it gets especially considering aaron Hernandez situation. He may be a pain in the ass, but he was highly productive and the eagles need to justify his release to there fan base. I believe they planted these stories.
Sorry but you are dead wrong. He is gone for one reason and one reason only. Chip Does not want him in his locker room, period end of story. And apparently, neither do most of the other teams.
Yes, there coach doesn't want him... Doesn't make him a gang member. The allegations are hurting him. Other teams don't want him as they can't afford him. Not sure why your so matter of fact that teams just don't want him.
Eliot Shorr-Parks and A.J. Perez had been working on the story for some time. Perez was the one that uncovered the 2009 marijuana arrest, Shorr-Parks was the one that uncovered the LA County Sheriff contact with Jackson and the Eagles. It just happened to be that NJ.com timed the release of the story when Jackson was in the news which is smart on their part. Had none of this come out it is very possible Philly would have held onto him after his best career year. Please explain how the Eagles planted a story about an LA County Sheriff questioning Jackson.
The marijuana arrest and the other info about alleged gang ties just came out. I think it is possible the Eagles crystal ball was broken and is why they didn't cut him last year.
It seems ver suspect. Did you read the lapd saying in a statement in no way was he involved, nor did they ever imply as much. The eagles never returned the detectives phone calls. There fans are pissed... On say he's a possible criminal calms tht down. Nyj.com doesn't break stories like this, had it been legit. It would have been broken by a different outlet. All speculation and allegations that are really not that true at all.
Riley Cooper is on video being racist and he gets a 5 year extension, but some vauge report comes in overnight and they Cut Jackson hours later ,they were hoping he would restructure but he wouldn't so they created this bs to hurt his value on the open market. Its low class to say the least
I read the whole story and while they said he wasn't involved in the murder the gang ties seem to be very clear since one of those charged and later cleared is signed by Jacksons record label. The money issue in and of itself may not have been enough for them to cut him and the money plus the locker room/meeting issues still may have not been enough but then the possible gang ties comes out and then it is enough obviously. As far as your claim that NJ.com does not break stories like this, is there some kind of legal restriction stopping them from actually reporting? Why would one outlet break it and not them? This makes absolutely no sense.
Please explain how they created a 2009 arrest and detectives interviewing him about a couple of murders
so maybe riley is a good soldier who screwed up but the organization can trust that was just a 1 time hiccup and desean has been running up drama in the organization to the point where the news article was not only the last straw but also a clear indication there would be no trade market. i mean why would they care about hurting his value on the open market. they already see there sunk loses?
I like what he's doing. Bringing in (for visits) good backup talent like Ohrnberger and Patterson guys who can play and add depth. Boy do we need more help on the OL. When you get injuries there that kills a team. Plus Mike Vick. Vick for Mark. What an upgrade. You don't need a team of overpaid stars to win games in any sport. Guys who can fill a role and do their job. NEP is expert at doing this. They don't believe in overpaying. The system is the thing for them. Once in a while if they can get a bonafide great player like Revis they will give them market value. Plus Idzik has re-signed good players he wanted to keep. So far---good job.
Kind of hard to fake an arrest, as far as alleged gang ties I never said they were true just that the marijuana arrest coupled with the alleged gang ties were possibly what made it too much on the Eagles organization on top of the locker room/meeting issues and money issues. What strikes me is how so many are trying to say the Eagles made these stories up. The Eagles didn't say a word about the gang ties as far as I am aware and the news article gave the Detectives names and info on the 2009 arrest. That is what makes it true. I have no idea what else you are asking, " Read the article getting no attention that I posted. Be objective"
Doesn't really matter the Jets have their own investigators to look into issues like this, maybe that's what they are doing.. who knows?
