maybe, wilson does expire after this year. if they don't take a cb high though, i am going to assume they see the same thing and kw can be retained for a few mil a year for the next 3-4 that will take him through his career. right now the cb roster has alot more potential than popular opinion believes
I agree with you. Put Kyle Wilson back in the slot position because he's an excellent slot CB, let Walls play on the outside and see what he's made of. They should look to draft maybe 1 or 2 CBs in the later rounds of this draft to compete, not look to draft one in the early rounds. I see the CB as more as a luxury. We need ILBs that can cover, a FS that can be in the centerfield. That is far more important then another blue chip CB.
He only played 6 games due to a fractured fibula, he wouldn't take a pay cut so they brought in Clemons and then cut him.
They did but you have to remember, Cromartie played about 600 more snaps then Wilson did and 800 more snaps then Walls did. And he had much tougher assignments then either of them probably had.
Go look at our schedule for the last month of the season,Millner played well against bad teams with mediocre or garbage QBs,He looked like a first ballot hall of famer against Clevland ,He has gotten burned so many times this year by good QBs who new how to expose him
Even with a miraculous signing of Djax, no chance. TE, Safety, OL and maybe still another WR would trump the CB. To be honest, I don't think Idzik would throw RR the bone.
I love how we want to bring in Jacoby Ford who has been such a scrub the last few years over a guy like Dsean Jackson ,seriously how cheap can you be.Don't even get me started on Dimitri Paterson are you kidding me?
Until I see him have a few good game against elite WRs and top QBs I won't know what to expect from him
Cro wasn't always on the best wideouts last year, he was getting smoked by anyone he lined up against. While he had more plays, he had less quality plays. His play last season was dreadful. In fact, if you lined up a JAG for the same amount of snaps, their year would have been similar at the worst.
idk why you post, like i think you might be the dumbest person on this board. why does every move have to be a splash? depth wins championships as proven by the 49ers and seahawks, the teams that by far have the most depth. it's amazing how clueless you are when it comes to making a football team
He is the dumbest poster on this board by far. Just go back and look at all his posts. It is pure ignorance.
See you idiots take what I say the wrong way,Obviously you build threw the draft dummy. But being that we have the most holes on our roster then we have had in years the draft just isn't enough. And we aren't the Seahawks or 49ers who have top qbs and tons of weapons on offense. All I wanted this free agency was two wrs and a cb plus the draft, two good wrs. Why is that so ridiculous?
you basically implied that we are cheap and because we are cheap we are signing jacoby ford over desean jackson. that's ludicrous. also paterson is a great depth signing incase someone gets hurt. it doesn't hurt to have veterans this team hasn't had depth under rex ryan and now we inch closer to achieving that
It was a meaningless game for the Browns all I'm saying is I'm not rushing to judgment until I see more of this guy in year two
Milliner isn't being anointed as a star here, but the very noteworthy late-season progress in his play is being recognized.
