The colts fucked that up and gave vonte Davis 9.5 million. Once that happened revis is worth 12 and when Richard Sherman is free agent he may want 50 mill per. Lol
Chris Johnson has not failed to amass 1000 yards in any season since his breakout year of 2000+ yards. However, he has been "consistently inconsistent" with his game totals since that season. Last season he failed to gain 50 yards on 7 occasions and didn't break 100 until the final game of the season against the league's worst Houston Texans. In 2012, he had 6 sub-50 yard games to go along with 2 more with totals of 51 and 56. 2011 was similar with only 4 games with totals of more that 64 yards and several that were just plain pitiful. If I signed him (and I wouldn't) it would be for very little money and even less expectation.
All I know is CJ2K went first pick in the second round of my fantasy draft last year where all our RBs went 6+ rounds.
I don't think he'd be brought in to the "the guy" like he is in Tennessee though. Fresh legs could make a big difference for a guy with as much tread as him.
He would be our starting back if we signed him. He's a good fit for MM's offense. I'd give him 5-6M per.
He's going to look great with the new lineup! Which features Desean Jackson, Brandon Pettigrew, James Jones, Jermicheal Finley, and MJD! Per Manish, Cimini, and other random news jabronis. Did I miss any other key signees? Listen to Jared Allen's presser, he basically says the news guys are straight making things up.
No way man. Yes he would be the lead back, but $5-6 million? The average right now is $2.8. No way I would give him north of $4 million. Especially at 28 years old.
Again we disagree lol You wouldn't give AP $6 million if he walked into the Jets facility? Are you fuckin nuts? LOL Edit: you were quoting a previous post. I thought it was yours since the quote was messed up LOL
I was just throwing a number out. I really want CJ, more so than Desean Jackson. he will add another dynamic to our offense. I'm getting all giddy thinking about it, plus the draft around the corner. I can't wait for the season.
I'm sure one of these days people will stop being interested in players based on how great they used to be.
Now that i think about it though CJ and Ivory would be a nice speed to power tandum. I like what CJ did in the passing game last year for Tennessee too. Had him on my fantasy team and forgot dude made a lot of big plays this past season. Might be quiet most of the game but always found a way to get that big yardage TD play at some point in the game
If Johnson signed with the Jets he would become the best RB on the roster. It all about upgrading and Johnson would be that.
