I don't think they would pass up Jackson for a guy that has more fumbles than touchdowns. Doubt Jones would be much more than a speedy returner with a few gadget plays set for him

Guard Rich Ohrnberger, a 4th round pick by Patriots in 2009, is at Jets facility today. Played 13 games with Chargers last year. #nyj

You do realize how much better he is than the guy we have to replace him, right?

Anyone know much about this guy? Is he a legitimate starter?

He was being sarastic, but we have already made it clear we are passing on Jackson. and it's Jacoby Ford, not Jacoby Jones.

From what I have been reading, he is a solid guy.

Reading through San Diego's boards, they didn't want him gone and apparently he played extremely well in the playoff game against the Bengals when Hardwick got injured.

Ohrnberger would be nice. Better than Ducasse. Ford will most likely be a return guy for us.

ford could be the nail in s.hill's jet career. if he comes in and battles hill for the 4wr spot, the edge will go to the special teams contributor.

Actually, Darrin Walls and Kyle Wilson graded out significantly better than Antonio Cromartie last year by PFF's analysis.

I agree that Cromartie had a shit ass year last year, but you are comparing apples to oranges. Cromartie played every snap and was up against the number one guy on opposing offenses. Who did Darrin Walls and Kyle Wilson cover?

    Come on now

Falco. While I do agree with your response, I can't help but think the Jets front office saw something in Crow moving forward they did not like. I'm speculating that he lost quite a bit of the speed that made him a good closer type of corner and it was not because of his injury. Might be wrong, but it was clear to me that they did not think he could return to his prior form.

Two nice, risk free moves that will help our depth at needed position.

Darrin Walls did play some outside and Wilson was matched up against some very talented receivers.

Your point is a good one, but there is evidence that these guys can play while Cromartie was one of the league's worst last year. Now admittedly, I would have liked to see him brought back on a deal much like he received with Arizona to compete for the job, but I have faith that one of those guys can step up.

Don't get me wrong fellas, I didn't want Cromartie back. I thought he had a terrible year and a guy at his age with an ailing hip injury is not something you can bank on. Especially if the said guy is a cornerback.

I was just being Devils advocate. That argument is tough when Walls and Wilson went up against a lot less talent than Cro did.

i am going to be in the minority but, if millner plays like he did the last month of the season, ihave no issues with kw. or dw being cb2 and lankster playing the slot. kw didn't play that bad after revis went down in 2012 and lankster has shown well at times in the slot, i know everyone is ready to jump off the ledge but i think we might not be as bad off as it has been suggested

I think Milliner will be the big corner we all hope he comes to be, but I also think Idzik will go after one in the draft, potentially in a higher round. It would really solve the secondary issue and have two young guys at each side for years.
