no, you are wrong as usual. the post you quoted clearly had me acknowledging it had to do with money. just that it wasn't solely a money issue. how can I be wrong when what you posted is exactly what I said? but if it was just about money because Kelley could slide in any player into the offense, they would cut every receiver that is making more money than the cheaper talent they could replace them with. why pay Maclin $6 million when he can just slide someone in cheaper?
Are you joking? If you want to believe these anonymous sources then believe all of them. The Jets reportedly reached out to Philly during the trade talks and did significant research on him. Having said that, why would he reach out to Jackson if he didn't like what he found? Lol
The idiots bashing Idzik are the same idiots who knock the draft when the Jets pick a lineman. They just want the Jets to make a splash. They don't understand Idzik is trying to build a young team that will be competitive for years. That means not overpaying for free agents, not bringing in players for one year deals only to lose them when they perform, and not trading away draft picks by the bushel. I read today that the Jets had 13 draft picks from 2009-2012. In 2014 they have 12. That is how Idzik is going to build this team. When tha Jets are one player away in the future we might see them overspend for a free agent, but they are far from one player away, and Jackson is problematic on so many levels.
