There are several teams that have closing window (Den, NE for example) and the mere fact that those two are not all over DJ says more than anything else.

Because last year when those guys didn't play we were absolute garbage. Apparently any good player is a "distraction" player. Not everyone can be Russell Wilson.

Appears you want to list all the positives, but no negatives.

Guys's a clown. Not worth nearly $10M a year regardless of off the field issues.

Whos asking us to load up on big contracts?I'm talking one or two players here,Dsean Jackson is off our radar he is visiting the Redskins on Monday. Its seriously looking like he is purposely doing this so Rex can fail,If he does have a plan then that's it.People are starting to act like we shouldn't spend any money because this team is stacked with talent or something.

If Washington is interested in him, he probably ends up there. I bet he would love a chance to stick it to the Eagles twice a year

KC is out of DJ pursuit after their research on him. Hmmmm....

#Chiefs were among those who did research on DeSean Jackson, as did plenty of others. Source says they are now OUT. He’ll visit Skins Monday"

I'll be relieved if he stays in the NFC. This still feels like a missed opportunity. Signing an established #1 wideout would have given us a lot more leverage in the draft.

Honestly, the bad work ethic and skipping meetings scares me more than the gang connection with Djax, because that sounds exactly like Holmes. And we just FINALLY ridded ourselves of that cancer, I don't understand why people want to jump back into that same situation with Jackson.

Interesting, if I were to speculate, I believe Desean might have been supplying money or something. Perhaps that explains why his house got robbed, perhaps the supply of money stopped, which lead to his house getting robbed. So with that being said, if that is the case, it would look VERY BAD if an organization signed him after knowing that the money you are paying him is going directly to funding street gangs. And why would Desean support them? well for a lot of people that make it big, the people from their past that supported them when they were nobodies expect them to support them when they make it big time.

Keep in mind, this is all my speculation, he might not have been directly involved in some sort of street crime, but he might have been supporting it in different ways.

Holmes and Dsean Jackson are not the same player,Jackson is coming off a carrer year Holmes hasn't had a big year since his Steeler days,Holmes is finished Jackson is still a legit threat over the top and on kick returns

Yeah I agree, I dont see Santonio Holmes when I look at Desean. Desean is a big time deep threat and is overall better. Imagine if the Lions had held off on signing Golden Tate and had signed Jackson? That would be a crazy duo.

Jackson put up 1300 yards last season. Let's say the Jets don't get him (which I pray they don't). The Jets pick up a WR with the 18th pick. If they pick up the right guy worthy of that pick and he starts and plays the entire season. I feel he should put up a good 900 yards. Is Jackson with all his bullshit and big contract worth 400 more yards over 16 games? I don't think he is. If this wasn't a deep WR draft maybe it's a different story.
