DeSean Jackson Signs with Redskins

He would be crazy to be anywhere near California. Probably KC or here and in that order. He has the Reid connection there and the Mornhinweg connection here. Wonder which one he got along with better.

I think he is a risky player...I think Rex will make this choise.

All the talk about missing meetings, effort..... Why would Andy Reid want a player like that? One that he has coached and would know all that already? Same reason I would love to sign him I suppose.

... And btw ... I'm sure it will be a great locker room situation if Geno is the starter, has a couple of bad games, and our star receiver starts lobbying for the backup who got him 80 receptions last season. No thanks.

 

Rumor has it he's an asshole correct. The jets are filled with assholes....many teams are. Jackson has been on record visiting children to counsel them on anti bullying. Also there was an article from Oakland talking about how he goes to visit inmates in jail. Just vocals he knows people that are in gangs doesn't make him awful. It was a way of life in LA. Yea it sucks but he grew up in the enviornment.

When Holmes was still good he helped the offense. Jackson is better than Holmes was.

Geno isn't beating out Vick anyway.

 

Let's sign him to a 1 year deal AND draft a receiver who's not an asshole..win-win..and on to the playoffs.

When he visits the "children" that's just him doing some recruiting for his gangbangers, and him going to talk with jailbirds, he's just visiting his boys.... hanging with gang members isn't considered "so bad" I don't know who your boss is but most employers don't consider that a redeeming quality.
