You don't want the circus to ever surface back into this team, you don't want players that don't have a strong work ethic and you certainly don't want to face something similar like that Patriots just went through with Hernandez. Jackson is too much of a risk, you don't add toxic players to this roster when you are rebuilding. I think the chances of DJax being a Jet are very slim. Very, very slim. He's not an Idzik guy, there is nothing wrong with that. You don't bring someone in here like that, you just don't. It would be a mistake.
The chances are slim because Idzik won't pay him market value. Now that a bidding war has begun, Idzik won't overpay for him. If he was going to overpay for anyone, it would have been for a CB. It's doubtful he would outbid a half dozen other teams for DJax especially with so much WR depth in the draft.

Idzik isn't a football guy either. He's a glorified accountant. He's a salary cap specialist, that was his role with the Seahawks; he had no real football experience when theJets hired him.

As long as he doesn't violate any NFL rules or anything like that, he, and any other owner can do whatever they want. It's not even worth complaining about owners. You just have to live with them. Dude Idzik is 2nd generation NFL football and did more than cap management with the Hawks. He is as much a football guy as you can get... He was bred into it...
