DJacc has been cut. Philly should have gotten something for him. I don't think we will overpay him. I don't think NE has cash to spend.
wow......can't believe they did this now with so much time before the draft. Everyone scared about the Hernandez thing so I can see this Well lets see what happens.....the new gang stuff has me changing my mind on him. I am on the fence where as before I was all on board.
One would have to believe that any teams that made offers to Eagles said they would need Djax to re-structure. So just like Revis, Djax prolly said fuck that. Sooooo its gonna take a whopper of a deal to get this guy
Between this and the pats freeing up another 6 mill after extending wilfork i dont like whats going on. I highly doubt idzik tries to outbid anyone and if he's gonna take less im sure it would be from a legit contender. But i wouldnt love to be more wrong in my life
The B.S. gang stuff is from "anonymous sources". IE, people inside the Eagles organization trying to slander him and make the Eagles fans less angry at his release
Nick Barlotta @NickBarlottaTSL 43s This probably eliminates the Patriots with Hernandez connections you?
Im well aware that it is a word. But followed by stupidity would make it a double negative, no? I guess sarcasm and humor is lost on some.
There are some good CB prospects in the draft. If the Jets feel the need to draft another blue chip CB, they can do so in the 2nd round. Or they can address the position later in the draft. If you look at the previous drafts, you can grab an impact corner late (Richard Sherman, Brandon Boykin, Logan Ryan for example). Offensive line depth can be provided as well via the draft. Specifically at the G position. I agree getting D-Jax would take the pressure off, but it won't be the end of the world.
The Raiders might not want him after learning about his West Coast gang affiliation...http://thebiglead.com/2014/03/28/ph...cerned-with-desean-jacksons-gang-connections/
IF IDZIK SIGNS DESEAN, THEN WE WILL HAVE GOTTEN DECKER-D-JAX,SHELDON RICHARDSON AND 12 DRAFT PICKS POST-REVIS.
I believe the cap hit is the same whether he is traded or released; his remaining guaranteed money counts against the cap immediately, which is $6 million I believe.
If D-Jax has true ties to any gangs, no way does he sign with a team. I don't think Idzik puts up with it.
I can only imagine how different everyone's impression will be if the Patriots sign him. The same people who say, "Let's sign this beast" will be saying "the Patriots are a bunch of thugs".
