I picked the wrong time to have surgery. Sitting home with nothing to do for 3 months except try and figure out what is going to happen with this show and a few others. Too much time on my hands.
Yeah but it's the perfect time to figure out your tolerances for mixing alcohol and pain meds. It's a delicate balance and while some say they should never be mixed, I find them complimentary. _
Been 3 weeks and I only had 2 beers one day so far. Not willing to risk it yet since one fall and the titanium plates in my neck slip and then I am never walking again. I have another 2 plus months at home so I am sure I will be having a few beers though.
Numerous issues with my spine but basically had to remove most of a couple of vertebra in my neck and then put the brackets to hold it in place while the bone graft takes. There is a titanium cage around it also. The worst part of it all is the cervical collar I have to wear 24/7, cant sleep worth a shit with it on.
Wow, that totally blows. My wife had a bunch of surgeries several years back and it was just such a drain on her--it was virtually constant. Best of luck, hope you feel better and...keep your chin up couldn't resist _
Cannibals? Interesting idea, but when they entered you immediately see vegetables growing on the sides. This makes me think it's just a group of people surviving, but that never seems to be the case. Humans can easily survive without much meat intake. Part of me wonders if they'll even begin to wrap the Terminus story line up or if they'll do it like they did with the Governor and drag it to the mid finale.
I believe they are cannibals and that this is all a trap. It seemed to good to be true from day 1. While Terminus does refer to the end of the line, which in this case is the end of the rail line, it also has a ancient history twist to it. The Romans would honor Terminus, who was a god of boundaries by sacrificing animals in order to please him and sanctify their land boundaries. Far fetched? Possibly but this is the Walking Dead.
Maybe both of the scenarios I brought up intersect. Religious fanatics who offer up people to the gods and then eat them.
I don't really get why they would be so trusting of a place that was advertised so heavily and supposed to be a good place to be in such a chaotic time. Seems to good to be true to me. Didn't they learn anything from Woodbury?
I love how humans act in this show. They are worse than the zombies. You'd think more people would band together for the common good and to keep the human race going, but so many folks are very quick to kill other humans. Part of me thinks that Terminus will be a good place, but that group that Daryl's with will try to "claim" it.
I met Maggie at the Ranger game lst night. She is beautiful in real life, literally had almost no makeup and was very very nice. She sounds even cuter with her English accent. _
