First off, our wonderful atmosphere..players off the coast of Oregon/Washington..our subtropical feed cutting through Mexico..our northern Arctic front coming through Minn and Mich...all looking to meet off the coast of SC/NC to produce one of the most powerful storms every recorded in the Atlantic.

Canadian model...you can see the heaviest precip just off the coast on THIS model.

NAM is coming out now. I have a feeling it will be different. Comes out in 5 minutes.

no real changes CBG..still looking at a storm too far off the coast to drop much snow for any of us. At this point thats a good thing.

two models of thought for all of us.

    1. 2 to as much as 5

    2. a dusting to a few inches. While that might sound vague its better...or worse..then what might have been measuring in feet..not inches..and 200 miles could have done that.

Will post some final thoughts tonight after all the models are in.

    Jay

Looks like winter is over. I for one, would like to thank you for all you did for me and others on this board. This winter I had to travel for business a lot more than other years and with your help I managed to avoid cancellations and delays most of the time.

    You are the man.

You bring a lot to this board and I am sad that I can't do anything other than thanking you.

Thanks Jil...just a lot of reading but thanks bud.

CMAN..Would love that one day...I will hop into that thread in the next week and maybe we can set something up!!

FJF...really enjoyed it bud..you came a long way..and great to know we can do this again next year and I have you to cover and take over when Im not around..because you can do it bud..great job!!

FM...sorry no day off!! Still..if you guys are around watching TV..try to watch the weather channel the next 24 hours and watch what this storm does to places like the Cape and Maine...this is one for the books guys..and now? happy it did not hit us. Watch the weather channel and you will be happy this did not hit us.

Brook: Like everyone in this thread..you are a great guy and a huge reason we were able to have so much fun with this. I really do look forward to meeting you soon..you know how to do it!

And to all the others that come by...you guys were great. When it comes to the weather, it gets on peoples nerves and if you want to know the truth, its a miracle we didnt have more people coming in here and piping off nonsense. I think its because MOST understood we did this for fun and NOTHING else. If we could help...great.

Tonight and tomorrow will post some pics of the beast but other then that...will be on if you have any dangerous stuff come our way. You guys are all ladies and gentlemen...real class acts. Thanks for making this fun for me too. Wish you guys a real healthy and happy summer!!

Looks like 2-4" according to weather.com. Been snowing all afternoon. Grass is covered but not the street or sidewalks...yet. 1-3" according to weather underground and accuweather.

Sunny and high of 42 tomorrow so it should pretty much all melt away. Looks like a nice trip home from Canada on Sunday as long as it doesn't snow too much Saturday.
