Not sure if this thread has the makings of a lock, but it's just something to consider. Given Vick's past, and Eric's 'Deckers Dogs' foundation, I wonder to what extent Decker will show friendliness towards Vick.
The only people that have an issue are people who don't know how to let go of the past. This is their job and life. I am pretty sure Vick's past will not get in the way of them playing football on the same team lol

lol i love how no one can forget vicks past yet no one ever talks about how big ben sexually assaulted a woman. vicks clearly a better person now
Big Ben with multiple rapes, Stallworth killing a man with a DUI, Ray Lewis murder. All those guys don't get hatred. Hernandez killed multiple people and people still think he's a better guy that Vick. Just doesn't make sense. I hate VT, I hated what he did to the dogs but now.. He did his time, he's apologized, and he's done so much good since then. I actually have come to like him. People need to move on.
What 'past' was that? The one where Vick took the bull by the horns (as a veteran team leader) and almost single-handedly diffused the Riley Cooper incident? But I get your point....I think.......maybe sign Cesar "the dog whisperer" Millan as QB coach?
It sucks how Vick's past is now fresh again, now that he a NYJ. Not many dog stories out of Philly the past three years - the controversy lasted his first two seasons. It's been 5 years! Now that he's on our team, it's as if just happened. That's the crap we all have to put up with as Jets fans. It's like waking up with a hangover every single day. I wish they hadn't signed him. I wish they never traded for Tebow. It goes on and on... BTW, I was never a Vick fan even before the dog killings. I pray Geno wins out and keeps the job.
look, as much as i love my dog i find it kind of odd that people get so up in arms about the treatment of animals when human beings go starving every day in this country. im not defending vick's criminal history here, but since getting out of prison he has done all the right things including donating to animal shelters and the humane society and getting involved politically against dog fighting. whatever, im not his biggest fan because of what he did, and im the first to admit that, but thats where it ends. hes paid his dues and is doing a lot with his money. there are a lot of people that dont do shit with their money and are scumbags to boot, why not give them shit instead of vick?
