they earned it, they got screwed out of it. complete BS, ISU could be as physical as they wanted, Carolina touches ISU and it's a foul. ISU was in the double bonus for a long time, Carolina didn't even get to the bonus until 22 secs left. they likely weren't going to hit a long shot to win it but to not even give them the chance? it's insane. they had a game stolen from them.

one sequence in the 1st half, ISU player knocks down heel player gets call and goes to line. should have been a charge, couple of possessions later, McAdoo does the same thing and scores but they waive off the basket and call a charge. stuff like that happening all game, bodies flying all over the place w/ no call while nothing but touch fouls being called on UNC

it was a joke. the Heels had it though, they were overcoming it w/ a nice lead and they blew it but hat game is never close if they called things the same way both ways then to not even allow the Heels to get a shot at the end. I have never seen anything like it.

Boy I knew I'd come on here and see junc crying about the refs.. "I have never seen anything like it" he says... Yeah, right. You see it in your mind every time unc loses

the refs dictated the outcome. Carolina had a chance to overcome but if it is even close to a properly officiated game the Heels easily win.

it's funny to me how Fri night trying to run out the clock the clock doesn't start and they review and don't take any time off. Tonight the clock doesn't start(after stopping late after the basket), Carolina calls TO, they review it and call the game. they likely weren't scoring on that play, I can live w/ that more than Carolina getting to the bonus w/ 22 secs to play while ISU was in the double bonus. happened in the first half too.

Iowa st dictated the outcome. Lers give them credit for once. They outplayed carolina plain and simple. north carolina is in no position to complain About the refs, they should try getting back and playing defense first.

I also thought roy screwed his own team at the end by trying to call that timeout. They caught a break when the operator didn't start the clock until they were past half court. Roy is a great coach but he made a mistake there. Trust your kids to make a play.

I could give them credit if they deserve it. they were nothing but hackers and they weren't called while they did nothing but call touch fouls on UNC.

I give them credit for hitting big 3s and for not folding late as well as taking advantage of the biased officiating. they knew Carolina couldn't be aggressive b/c they were calling touch fouls so they got a million open looks and free lanes to the basket.

the end of the game was a joke w/ the clock. there's just no reason the Heels shouldn't have had time to throw a prayer up.

Nice...junc. Sorry your team lost but you are being ridiculous. I guess it's my fault for trying to argue with someone who's just venting after a loss though. I'm not practical in those moments either.

I'm surprised with Tennessee. Did anyone see their play in? They looked horrible.

it was a great year, that team battled through so much nonsense. To be able to battle back after the hairston suspension was amazing. I loved this team, one of my favorites. Next year they will be a final four team again, adding a great class to a great group of returning players.

To their credit, they put a number of 'scalps' on their belts this year (MSU, Louisville, Kentucky, Duke) and with McAdoo returning and some more McDonald's all-stars the sky's the limit for them in '15.

it was up and down, beat some big time teams, lost to some bad ones but overall an excellent season. It reminds me a little of the overachieving 2006 team w/ an ending similar to the 2007 team where they blew a late big lead. This team will be a top 5 team next year, anything can happen in the Tourney but next year the expectations are FF or bust for the first time since the 2012 team. The word is McAdoo will return but you never know until it is official, Paige is also expected to return and they bring in 3 big time players that at the very least should help the FT % go up :D

They will be talented and deep, how do they now handle big time expectations though? that will determine how far they go.

Gotta love the Wichita Stat apologists still whining about Kentucky being an 8 seed. "If they play that game 10 times, they split them 5-5".

Florida is a 1 Seed. They played Kentucky three times: Beat them all three times.

Two days later and I'm not any less upset. I've been the a Jay apologist but I'm starting to run out of patience. When they couldn't extend the lead when Napier went out with two fouls I know we were in trouble. And why we're still playing 9 guys makes zero sense at this point in the tourney.

You can NOT win an NCAA Tournament game when you can not score a point for 10 minutes and 15 seconds. Virtual impossibility. That being said. I am not sure how responsible Jay Wright is for this one. The team was responding to him, and were playing good defense.
