That was such a great moment, I missed it live as our game vs. Pitt was just starting and Brad Smith was returning the opening KO for a TD. I flipped back after the Brad TD to see Eagles celebrating. Great day in NY sports.
DJax shows up for half the games. The other half he's relatively invisible. Whether that's his fault or not, I don't want to trade for it, especially given his salary requirements. You just don't buy championships. Not saying we'll find a DJax in the draft, but I'd rather take my chance that we will.
Agreed. I think he would help the Jets be a better team, but that's not the only thing you look at when acquiring players.
One season. Chip Kelly's offense. How about this...you've seen what he can do in MM's offense. It's not that pretty.
Sean Lester Durham @SeanLDurham 9m Unless you tell me D Jax uppercut his wife, got a DUI or bullying teammates in the locker room I'm not trying 2 hear "character issues" crap
He doesn't have to be a wife beater or dog fighter to not be exactly what you want in player character.
2008 - 62 catches 912 yards 2009 - 62 catches 1,156 yards 2010 - 47 catches 1,056 yards 2011 - 58 catches 961 yards 2012 - 45 catches 700 yards 2013 - 82 catches 1,332 yards Guy is better than any Jets receiver pretty much ever.
And makes substantially more. You're entitled to your opinion, but I wouldn't trade for established, well-paid veterans unless it's at a more consequential position.
Let me ask you this... With Kenny Britt still out there (visiting Buffalo right now), would you rather him or Desean?
